Cats. 100%.

Cuter, smaller, less drooly and lets not forget:

LOW MAINTANANCE!

Dogs are like a stupid child that never grows up. Cats? They can handle themselves. Best pet ever.
Yeah, pretty much this.

Dogs have a pack-mentality, which is why they can never be independent.
And because cats are independent, they can never be as loyal to another being.
I'm not worried about my pet betraying me(what the fuck?) or abandoning me, so loyalty isn't as important.

To each their own of course, I just like my pet to actually, you know...

like me back.
*shrug* I haven't had that many experiences with cats, but from being around friends and relatives cats, I just don't like the attitude they give off.

Why isn't there an option "I like both"? Because I really do.

I like cats because they're not as much of a responsibility. You can even leave the house for 3 days without having to get someone to look after them. They're lighter and easier to handle and cuddle with. You don't have to bathe them as often, you don't have to look after them as much, and they're just a lot less needy in general.

I like dogs because you can do more stuff with them. Take them for walks, take them for car rides, take them fishing with you, play more games with them, and the list goes on. I wouldn't ever own a small dog though. If I was going to get one of those I'd just get a cat. But middle-sized and even larger dogs feel more like an actual family member than a cat does.

Cats.

I have a 7 month old kitten called Spinn (The swedish word for purr.)
He´s so cute! He´s a ragdoll, so he follows me around the house.

I better stop before this post turns into a monologue about my cat.

dogs.
A Labrador, for instance is alot of fun. They are soft, energetic, playful, loving and loyal. Name a cat you can do that with.

Cats hate cats. Ever seen a kitten walk up to a cat it don't knows the cat almost aways goes ape shit.

A dog is your best friend, someone who will always be by your side forever. They will help you as often as you help them.

A cat is your master. You are there to take care of it and stay out of its way.

Yea I'm a dog person. Although the only cat I have had experience with is the homicidal demon spawn of satan. The allergies probably don't help much.

I know exactly what you mean. Cats always act like they don't give a ****(doesn't apply when stroking cats :D), dogs on the other hand mostly behave compassionate and/or playful.
