Poll: DPS, Tank or Healer?

In WoW I'm a mage now, but I used to be the #1 healer in my raiding guild, but I have no patience to level a pally to 80.
Have played them all and enjoy them all. In my current game (LOTRO) there are others classes beside the usual DPS/Tank/Healer roles and some classes can fulfil a number of different roles depending on gear/traits. My favourite is the LoreMaster (Good ranged DPS, poor melee DPS, secondary healer, worst tank of them all

That was a tough choice. I have always played casters and loved them the most. Eventually I did get into playing cleric types/healer types and loved that but still liked my casters better. Now I play all the types and I really love my tank builds. I do love my caster for certain areas and reasons but I sure do love my tanks too. I picked caster because that was my first love and the one I tend to go back to when bored with other stuff but I do so love my tank builds now too.
I have to agree with Gormourn, I choose to not go ret with my paladin not only because I prefer tanking, but also because I am good at it and when a group doesn't have a solid tank the group will fail, and I hate wiping. I also know that if we wipe it's usually my fault, the reason this makes me feel better is because if we fail I can blame myself instead of being pissed off at the shitty tank. Sure it gives me the burden of having the pressure on my shoulders, but I can just tank that too, lol.
I'm not pissing on support roles, DPS you guys are valuable, I mean I can't tank forever, which means mobs and bosses need to be DPSed down fast, but I've also had the unfortunate burden of carrying DPS through instances. Damage meter doesn't lie, when Tank is at the top there's a problem with your DPS... lol.
This is why I prefer to be in one of the main roles of a group, I like feeling useful and valuable. To the Good DPS out there : don't be offended, I've been in a few groups where I wasn't out-dpsing the DPS and I'm very greatful to you guys!

My main used to be a Shadow Priest(even before they were good played since 05). I also had a hunter, mage, and rogue.
So I'd say I'm DPS. I can heal, but there's something about being able to beat others on a damage meter that just makes me smile inside

I would have said Tank if this poll had been made prior to March 10. After Warhammer Online released the Slayer and the Choppa, I'm all about melee DPS now.
DPS Caster all the way. Theres nothing better than torching your teammates as well as an enemy and saying they got in the way.
I have always started off a MMO as a healer, then after I have a feel for endgame I will make a big mean DPS melee. I have always held the opinion that the best DPS players have a good feel for what a healer is doing and is going through.
