A fan.

I actually love it more then origins for one reason.

It make you choose: There is no third option for a good ending to a quest.

People will die, and you will be blamed.

Meh. I enjoyed it at first, but the more an more I think about it, more issues arise for me. Especially Act 3, I felt like that is where the game completely falls apart as an RPG for me.

I don't think I'm going to attempt another playthrough anytime soon.

My personal opinion:

Good:
More active combat
Improved Graphics
Fun bantering between companions

Bad:
Copy and Paste maps
Boring/Predicatable Story/Plot
Random jumps in time
Fairly Long (and if you are in town frequent) loading times
Mostly boring/Sterotyped characters
Choices didn't seem to have much effect

Different:
Ability Trees
Having to go to companions house to talk

I also felt that using characters from Dragon Age:Origins and Dragon Age: Awakenings was more of a cop-out then anything. I would have prefered more fleshed out new characters since the story had virtually nothing to do with Dragon Age: Origins anyway. I wouldn't mind a cameo or something but they just felt silly to me. Heck. why even call it dragon age 2, why not just call it Dragon Age: Kirkwall

I wouldn't precisely say "fan", but it's the closest to "I liked it overall." of the options you gave.

I enjoyed the game. It's not like nothing was wrong with it, but I enjoyed playing it. It was a fun game.

Huge improvement on Boring Age: Snorigins, anyway.

The brilliant encounters of the Temple, the Fade and Deep Roads led me to despise Origins. Granted I was playing the console version.

I felt it was severely flawed and very rushed, but it still won me over with its wonderful characters and great story.

I'm a fan for sure.

This pretty much sums up my feelings on it

I felt the characters could've been fleshed out a bit more though

A fan fo' sure. Yes it was buggy at times and the difficulty curve was a but strange but still definably worth my money.

Though I did enjoy a lot of DAII, I couldn't tell you what it was. Everything was just enough to show promise but not enough to pull me in for more than one playthrough. It felt kind of short, kind of rushed (combat-wise) and kind of shallow. I liked that BioWare was diversifying back into more traditional RPGs, which makes me disappointed to find "fantasy Mass Effect, only the plot is kind of weak and we don't explore the characters enough, etc.". That in turn makes me sad, because they had the beginnings of a subtle, nuanced and well-developed story. I would seriously have waited another two years or more for this game if they expanded on everything and brought strategizing back into the combat. As it stands, DA2 was a disappointment, a low point in BioWare's magnificent history doing not enough with far too much. And I've barely begun to complain about half of the problem.

So yes, I'd say I'm a hater. Not to say that the game wasn't good, just that it didn't hold up to the developer's standards or what I was expecting of the sequel to what was an exceptional game.

I love Dragon Age: Origins, but the word "Snorigins" really made me laugh.

It's okay but it seems kinda like a Mass Effect 3 beta. With swords.
Incidentally I hope Mass Effect 3 will allow me to stab people with copyright friendly lightsabers. >_>

The fact that at the end of every battle a few more guys drop in like ninjas was my biggest complaint. Every. single. time.

Other than that I enjoyed it. Yeah, not as good as the first in a lot of ways but I'd still say I'm in the 'fan' category.

I'm a fan. I absolutely love DA2. Much more than the first one.
The first just felt way too limited to me almost and very generic.
The new one feels vastly improved in the way you can do things. It felt like it had more style of its own.

I know that's just fangirl rambling but still, I love it.

Hater; it just seemed lazy, every freaking house in hightown had the same floorplan, the ninja enemies warping in as somone mentioned got annoying.

To me the whole game felt like a great origin story from the first game but I kept waiting for the actual meat of the game to begin.

Neither. But I don't plan on playing it...as there are plenty of better games coming out this year.

Haven't played it so

Seeing how I wasn't hyped for it, from the little I've seen it looks like Mass Effect set in standard midevil Europe with a different combat system. And less story. Probably will never play it since used PC games no longer exist so I won't be able to pick it up for dirt.
