I don't work out, my natural strength and what comes from fooling around has always been enough. Going into martial arts next year though.

Oh, and Ultrajoe? I can do like three pushups. My arms are pretty weak. But I can go and do situps pretty much right up until I die of boredom. I thought they were supposed to be easy?

I'll trade you, really. The pain of poor pushups is nothing compared to your muscles discovering they don't like moving in that sittupy way... every time I sneeze it hurts... I should do more butterfly when I swim, it uses the same muscles, to try and condition myself, or more breastroke. As i'm not a sprint swimmer I don't have the same torso control or precision as said sprinters, my main ability being in staying afloat and breathing as the distance withers away. The majority of my stoke is designed to not stress my stomach or torso muscles, as after a kilometer of that your insides resemble a fight scene out of watchmen.

I'm just going to try and do 5 more of them every day until I can not pray for death after about 15. As Danny said, what's probably making it worse is the fact that i'm going into them right after pushups and other painful activity.

But soon, soon I will be able to fly. I have seen the Matrix.

Every Day or so.
My workout usually consists of:
15 Push ups.
80 Sit-Ups
And 30 Reps with my barbells.
And running for about a mile.

And OP, just don't overdo it.

I like to run the mile everyday. My broken leg prevents me from running, but that doesn't stop me from doing that mile with one leg and crutches.

At the moment I'm doing other physical things like push-up, sit ups and the like. The more I exercise, the more equipment I can carry into battle.

I work out several days a week. Each day I work out I do 240 sit-ups (not the no-effort crunches that seem to be so popular these days). With the exception of the sit-ups, my work-outs change from one of two routines. For the first, I jog and benchpress 90 lbs. 120 times (I lack higher weights). For the second, I work my arms, shoulders, and obliques.

I do just enough to keep myself fit. Swim laps if it's hot enough, run a few miles, so on. I only do it a few times a month.

I exercise every night before I sleep. Just weights, crunches and a minute or so of jump rope in between sets.

with football, coach makes us do 1 1/2 hour minimum lifting before or after practice. Then comes the worst part...the running.

I don't necessarily "work out", but I belong to a pool club and I play street and roller hockey nearly year-round.

I have the triple blessings of being an adolescent, having good east european genes, and being EXCESSIVELY stressed out, so i never really worry about weight, sanity maybe, but not weight

How often do you work out? By which I mean exercises with the specific purpose of increasing strength. I'm talking press-ups, Sit-ups, Pull-ups, weight training, etc.

I do 100 press ups every night (since last month) and whatever else comes to mind at the time.

Feel free to give tips or whatever.
press ups are a very good exercise but you should do them in combination with sit ups

press ups work your back, shoulders, arms and pec muscles. they only work abs a little bit so doing the sit ups makes up for that. i do 75 situps and 75 press ups every night, and i try to go for a bikeride everyday. but......when its raining then i just stick to sit ups and press ups

Couple times a week, I try to get some exercise everyday but doesn't always happen because I get lazy.
