Subtitles because with movies like A Beautiful Mind, you just get a bunch of anoying ass steriotypes.

Subtitles for sure. Only exception I can think of is Akira. Good voice acting to my ears. Anyone with Ong-Bak should try the dubbed version without bursting out laughing. Terrible.

Subtitles...

English translation rapes the original delivery and bastardizes the content. Just tell me what they are saying and allow me to hear the original voice acting. I will then draw my own conclusion to the context.

A good dubbing is possible, but a good subtitling is easier to get right... I can read fast enough that flicking my eyes down to catch the written dialogue isn't an issue, and I normally end up mapping the words I've read onto the inflection I'm hearing... ends up feeling like they were speaking English the whole time. That might not work with languages that are drastically different from English (the more similar the words actually are, the more easily the illusion will happen) but it works well enough for me.

Bad dubs or bad subs are both terrible things though.

I'd rather subtitles than dubbed. The noise coming out thier mouth should be their own and not some cheap-rate actors voice in in english. Not everybody speaks english so why should they just for a film. Besides some languages sound better than english.
err... where u going to say something?
