Master Chief, all of Duke Nukem's one liners are ancient pop culture references, despite MC's lack of character, at least he isn't made up of other people's jokes.
I find it saddening that people equate 'The Duke' with Duke Nukem now. I'm only in my 20's and even I know The Duke is John fucking Wayne.

Though if I had to pick between Master Chief and Duke Nukem to save the world from an alien invasion, I would pick Commander Shepard since he can technically be either or both of them at the same time.

Master Chief. He may be a generic, personality-devoid space Marine, but at least once he's done saving the world he won't be expecting any "favours" from me in return. I'd rather the hero of Earth have no personality than be a misogynistic douchebag.
Does Master Chief have balls of steel?
No, he's just covered in steel. Duke doesn't need steel armor. HE HAS PURE MUSCLES. (and balls of steel)
Besides, Master Chief has never literally ripped someone's head of and defacated down their neck.

Yeah, I think Halo is a pretty cool guy, eh killz aleens and doesn't afraid of anything, but Duke somehow nukes almost every level in the game and survives the blast.
If you can somehow nuke yourself and survive without thinking about it, you truly are afraid of nothing.
I would suggest a team of the 2 saving the world, but MC's "Get the job done" motives would contradict Duke's "Get the job done and have loads of fun doing it, spewing one liners as their limbs fly away" ideals on saving the world. Maybe MC and Doomguy on one half of earth and Duke on the other. That would work out, wouldn't it?

HAH! thats actually really funny. but personally i would pick the chief for a couple reasons, ive never played a duke nukem game (until this one comes out), and from what ive seen the chief is more tactical and efficient in his xeno killing, and more concerned with other's survival than his own semi-hedonistic motivesWanderingFool said:Wait...
