Well, market dictates how capitalism works. If people don't buy games with consumer unfriendly DLC policies, presumably it will stop happening. But the market hasn't done that. So presumably if you're reliant on market forces, you're going to have to wait until the market finds something it's unwilling to pay for.Zeel said:What is a good solution here? However, times are changing and boycott and ***** is becoming less of an option. Especially when we have corporation shrews spreading this "entitlement" propaganda.
You may not like the idea of lobbying, but if you aren't going to rely on a market solution, only Congress has the power to regulate what corporations can and cannot do when it comes to consumer rights.
The only other thing I that I can think of is perhaps if someone could come up with the grounds to sue a company over it's DLC policies and was successful, it might pave the way for change.
