There's one point where Elizabeth says something with the word Father and I'd swear to god I was hearing Belle or Ariel. She was definitely disney princess esque.

and 1st outfit because urgh corsets.

Alright escapists, let's talk FASHION!
Because... why not?
Anyway.
Which is your favorite between the loose casual-wear she wears for the first half of the game or the blue corset she has for the latter?
Personally, I like the corset. No particular reason, just do. Although I have to say, when the first outfit is getting torn and dirty, I kind of like that too. I like the wear and tear, don't know why.
SO!
Which is your favorite?
Perhaps a couple pictures/links would help those who haven't played the game see what you're talking about.

second one hands down, the first one was just too realistic and when you're on a giant floating city in the sky and can bend reality, I dunno I just tend to think that some fantasy is welcomed, plus it wasn't all "tits in YO face!" it was rather more Disney princess vibe, which should not be frown upon, to compare Infinite's design to classical fairy tales that stand the test of time call me crazy but that's an achievement of its own, hell Elizabeth can very well be the next female by which all female characters are designed

2nd one definitely. Also fits nicely with her transition from a naive trapped girl to more mature and experienced woman.
Ooooh, I get it.

I prefer the first... because I have no idea how either looks like. But it is a corset so I'm just a patriarchal fa?ist trying to keep the sisters down. Or at least exert social pressure to women to have to conform to because I am male and everything revolves around me.

I have a serious thing for long hair, so I'm going with her first model. Her second model certainly has its, er, charms.

But early-game Elizabeth is way too adorable to be topped by her late-game sex appeal.

Speaking purely of the outfits, though, I'd go with the second one. It's just a more interesting design.

Well, as a male with only the slightest hint of fashion sense, I would have to pick Elizabeth the 1st's outfit. Sure it's bulky, stifling, and puffed to the nth degree, but you could just pick off the jewels and gold and live of the profits. Elizabeth #2 is far less interesting in....that....rega...

Oh, uhhh, must. remember. to. read. other. posts. first., ummm so Bioshock Elizabeth eh? First one works better for me.

I think the first one suits her better.
The corset just looked uncomfortable.

I kind of like both equally, I was surprised at how much I missed the first one though when she changed. Although I think her first outfit getting torn up and then having to be changed to something more "mature" looking, was supposed to be a metaphor for her loss of innocence over the course of the story.

Also, why just pick from the two?

When you can choose from all these variations.
I do like how they worked in her look from the very early trailers of the game on the far left.

Fair enough.

It's hard for me to say. On one hand, the first one is far more period appropriate including the hair style. On the other hand, the second outfit is some ways conveys the look of a more mature and intense person, which fits with the character development. It's after she changes looks that the story begins to show how scarily powerful she really is. Also consider that she changes her clothes and cuts her hair
because she gets splattered in blood when she kills Daisy Fitzroy. She goes from a naive girl locked in a tower, to someone willing to kill, an act she finds appalling when she sees Booker do it earlier in the game. Also, those clothes originally belonged to Lady Comstock, which becomes another important plot point.
So I'm going to go with the second outfit, because it shows character development, and is also simply more iconic to the game.

Not sure. I've only seen stills a a wee bit of gameplay with the outfits (haven't been able to play it yet), and while I do like the first outfit, it's the second I'm more familiar with and more recognize her for.

First, for the unintentional "Belle" vibe.

Thank you, I though it was just me getting the Belle vibe.

OT:

I generally liked the first outfit more, as it fitted with the setting a bit better. Plus with the first outfit I didn't get an eye full of unexpected up close cleavage when I turn round to accept a coin off her :p

On the whole both outfits where good and I though the transition between the two was very well done.

I like Eleanor's diving suit better. :3

What? That's not acceptable? *sigh* Fine.

Since technically she's always wearing Dress #2 beneath the blouse she's wearing with Dress #1 (all except the little jacket thing she tosses on), I'll go with #2.
I liked Eleanor too. I mean f*ck Sofia Lamb but Eleanor was banging.

OT: Although I really dig the style of the second, the first outfit was nice because she was happier while wearing it... gawd, that might be the sappiest thing i've ever said... I dunno.

The first outfit was good, but I was happy to see her switch to the second one, simply because she was wearing it in most of the ads for the game.

Her only outfit.

OT: I prefer the second outfit. She looks much more womanly.

And dat hair. I'm a sucker for short hair.

I love 'em both, but the first one wins out a bit.
She just looks so gorram cute and awesome.

I'll always lean slightly towards cute over sexy.

And I'll take long hair over short.

I love how ironic that comic is, since

The story kinda, sorta, DOES end with her and songbird ballroom dancing. At least, songbird's story does.
