Poll: emin3m, good thing, bad thing

there have been more than enough protests and whining about the rapper emin3m, many parents moan about there being no place in the modern world for his music, they complain its too gritty and full of hatefull and desgusting subject matters and that they dont want there children being exsposed to that sort of thing.

i personally think that there all full of crap, i think that emin3m is a creative, intelligent artist. But many say he's nothing but a criminal and that his music is little else but mindless swearing and desgustng subjects.

so what do you think, is emin3m good or bad.

Half of his songs were either about abusing his wife or apologizing to his daughter.

Yea, very homophobic. Like way up there on the homophobia levels. He's an okay rapper, but I prefer others.

The first amendment protects almost any speech and all artistic speech so I support him in his job, however I don't think he's intelligent nor creative. He starts controversy to drive sales, his songs are basically over the same subject matter (My mom is bad, my exwife is bad, I love my daughter, I'm insane). I prefer Frank Zappa, because even though he could and did sing offensive songs he had meaning behind them as well as genius compositions.

Eminem's latest beef is with Mariah Carey, simply because he could start a beef. It's a cry for attention because his mom didn't give him enough.

The number 3 doesn't really resemble the letter 'e', they're back to front. That aside, I don't hate eminem, there are worse rappers out there and I like one or two of his songs, not so much I listen to them regularly though. That said I don't like him either; he can be a whiny idiot.

I like him. He's one of the only rappers I'll actually choose to listen to, seeing as most of the others I've found seem to be way to focused on Bitches, Cribs, and Bitches in Cribs. At least he's different.

I enjoy the last option. I'll say hes a criminal when he has done an illegal act and been found guilty of committing that act, not because some stuck up parent is too sensitive to listen to him talk. On topic though I could not care less about eminem. I have Stan on my iPod too but I believe thats it.

If people don't like his music for one reason or another don't buy it, nobody is forcing you to (not even your shitty kid).

My Mum is obsessed with him, and I was, per say, brought up on his music. Until I started to hate tap and everything. I still think he's okay, but I just only like rap.

Anyone who was brought up in the Hip Hop community by Dr. Dre is worth listening to in my opinion. All but one of the beats on Eminem's new album, Relapse, were made by Dre.
A lot of the topics he raps about are considered taboo in our culture, but that doesn't stop him from being one of the most unique rappers I've ever heard, and though his lyrics might be a bit extreme, the way he spits his rhymes and fits his words together so smoothly is completely dope.

Meh, I don't actually like him, but that people should complain about him and not one of the 32175765 other generic rappers that rap about gangstars and bitches surprises me.

At least he manages to put some humour and satire into his song, he can actually sing too.

Ah well, Weird Al raps better than any of the rappers nowadays anyway.
