Idk if it was someone here or on 4chan but they mentioned something interesting...
Every one of his songs is about himself. His fans, his life, his pain, whatever.
It's all about him and nothing else.

Well, he is the only awesome white rapper I know of, so definitely yes.

Thanks for stealing my points on the first two posts.

I did think of something though, one of his songs was featured in a trailer for Modern Warfare 2. That song made that trailer infinitely more awesome. Can't recall the name though.
two of you stole my points and I agree with the guy that I quoted. Something about his sound and the majority of his songs immediately appeals to me. The fact I he's white plays second fiddle to what an amazing rapper he is. Also the fact that guys like Lil Wayne-who everyone seemed to listen to be for Em exploded onto the scene again with Relapse-speaks so highly of him and wanted to do(and since has done) a track with him is just icing on a very sweet cake. Also Jake even though i have no plans now or ever to play MW2 I must admit the trailer of which you speak(Till I collapse is the song BTW) is pretty badass

Yes. "Recovery" is his best album to date. Listen to "Wont Back Down" and tell me you dont feel like going out and cracking some skulls.

The only other white rappers I know are Polish and they all suck when compared to Eminem.

Besides, I like his old songs. Even Stan, though it's not, humorous like The Real Slim Shady or Without Me.

To be frank I only really like two of his albums, "The Marshall Mathers LP" and of "The Eminem Show" after that I haven't kept up with him and his new music after from that song he wrote for 8miles which I thought was very good.

The thing was in the "The Eminem Show" he was more of singing than actually rapping and the former album I mentioned had Stan with dido which I thought was a very good song and a few other good things but to be fair he did play a bit too much on the gay jokes in the the "The Marshall Mathers LP."

Fixed it for you. You're insulting rap with a statement like that. One rapper who doesn't rap about those topics would be Everlast. And by your definition of "raps about something other than booties and hoes" I could mention a whole slew of rappers, since it seems to mean "this person sometimes raps about booties and hoes, and other times he doesn't."

Edit: Another group not dealing with the subject of bootie and hoes would be Dan Le Sac Versus Scroobius Pib.

I don't like much rap, but I enjoy Eminem. It seems like he's one of the few rappers who doesn't just sing about how he and his homies are total pimps.
Really? because he actually does quite a lot. In fact I really don't understand why so many people give Eminem a pass and then in the same breath say they don't like the content of other rappers when Eminem has been one of the most offensive rappers i've listened to. With that said I am an avid Eminem fan but then again I like a lot of Hip hop.

I don't know.

The Marshall Mathers and Slim Shady LP's are brilliant. Everything after that, I could not stand.

Not my favourite hiphop/rap either. So... I'll abstain my vote.

His old stuff was crap, his stuff since he started making fun of people has been great.

HATE. But I hate all rap, and honestly, haven't really listened to him at all. But that's because I know I'd hate it. Just like country.

He's my favorite rapper. Plus, mostly everyone likes him, especially feminists.
Feminist women love emminem "Chigga Chigga Chigga, Slim Shady, I'm sick of Him, look at him,
Grabbin his you know what, flippin the you know who," "Yeah, but he's so cute though!"
That song is awesome.
