Ok i like saints row more then GTA becuse GTA is to real when you play a game you what to mow people down with ease and not die lose your guns and money GTA is way to dark. Saints row is better becuse its funny but mantaing a good storyline wide veriatiy of guns and not die a lot. Thats the reson why People play video games is to have fun and get away from reilsem.on other hand GTA like vice city and san andes were great.plus saints row has fully customisable parts to it.

I never played a SR game but I like to believe both have their charm, and no one stops you from buying both.

Oh sweet jesus christ i made it 50/50 this argument will forever be!.. personally i dont really compare them, ones funny and entertaining the other entertaining and gritty i chose Gta because i enjoyed it more End Off really, yes yes there the same sandbox game but what makes them what they are are completely different

This is problem here Pandy. He asked what is better "grand theft auto (not indicating which one, so should be seen as the franchise in genral) or Saints Row (same GTA but only 2 games to its name and Saints Row 1 wasn't very good.)

I have no hate for the sandbox genre, the title of this thread makes it seem like its the great poll to end all polls, to find out its actually about two games that will both be superceeded by their next iteration within two years made me foam at the fucking mouth.

Two games that are about 6 months old as well? timeless?, what?

A timeless argument would probably be one that's been discussed so much nobody cares, though.

Au contraire mon ami American(online), timeless would mean that people wuold still care and find the question and answers still fun.

Bit like "priceless", it doesn't mean its not of value.

in GTA i fin that 5 mins in im always blowing up cars in the street however in GTA 4 once you kill 1 person you get arrested and have to be in prison and sighn a list thing and always take your cuson out for dinner...ect

but in saints row 2 i can have a fantstic accsent be a ninja and surf n cars i just love the messabout aspect also the cut scenes are quite funny
