Poll: Ever been amazed at something you did... while you weren't paying attention?

I guess I shall start, as that appears to be how everyone else does it.

What I just did inspired me to make this poll. I was trying to open a Lucozade while reading some posts in another forum and the cap had started coming off but only on the right side, so to remedy this I retraced my steps and twisted the cap back only to lock it in place... Now it is bloody useless, I can't open it as it is locked and I can't throw it away cos' its full!

I guess you could include things you did when no one else was around but you wish someone else saw, this is my second topic posted so be gentle. XD

Beat three other skilled players at Super Smash Brothers Brawl while I was on the phone... The first time I have ever played as Ice Climbers. I still had three out of my five lives left, too.

I was in the library at uni with my friend and was making notes from a book and trying to converse at the same time (check me multi-tasking) only when I looked down at my "notes" I'd actually drawn a fairly decent sketch portrait of her. I have no idea how I just kinda did it.

My friend was watching me play Jak 3, I was just mucking around by blowing up sand pirates on my friend's file, next thing I know, he says something and I realize that he was watching ME, not the game.

"Dude! You haven't blinked once in 5 minutes!"

O.K., this is going to sound unreal, but you know that game with a knife, where you stab between your fingers? Yeah, me and my freinds were playing with pencils (We're sissies), and I was doing BAD, but we got bored, and started talking about, I dunno' nerd stuff, but I was still fooling around with the pencil a bit. I went really slow and sped up, then I started talking to them and wasn't really keeping track anymore. My freind looked at me and just gawked, when I asked why, he just shrugged his chin at my hand. I was doing the stabbing thing, and acctually going pretty fast. But as soon as I looked, I lost focus and stabbed myself right in the vein. I bled for a while, but bragging rights were mine!

One time at random I was asked to name every chapter of Half Life and well I really wasn't listening I was trying to read a book but I recited all of them perfectly but when I was asked to do it again I could only get to chapter 4.

How many more of us are out there... half-man, half-pencil... living a life we didnt choose, on the edges of society!

We were playing dodgeball in gym class, and I was talking to my friend.
While that was happening, everyone else had gotten out and my friend and I had no dodgeballs on our side. The entire other team threw their balls at me, and while I was talking, I dodged five and caught two. Then I took those two and got two other players out without really paying attention.

I get tons of noscope headshots on Halo PC while I'm not paying attention.
One of them was on Ice Fields. Some guy fell off the bridge and I took a random shot at him.
Noscope headshot and then I got booted for aimbot accusation.

Another time, I was playing SSBB with 3 other friends. One of them decided he was really bored, so he chose Ganondorf and only used warlock punch (falcon punch clone). He won without even paying attention or losing a life.

Unless your my one buddy. He can grab you with one climber, hit you, then grab you with the other ad infinitum, no way to escape it... Man he is scary at that game.

I was playing GH:A for the first time as a friend was at my place. I thought I heard someone at the door while I was playing Rag Doll and I forgot I was even playing, so I got up and moved around the front door, seeing if anyone was home. No there wasnt, so I go back to get my turn at GH:A. I walk in and my friend is like "Dude, you just aced the ending of it without even looking!". I look down, realized I was holding the guitar, and my jaw slammed against the floor. 98% too. I know I was impressed.

I feel off a fire escape, did a backflip in mid-air and then grabbed onto the handrail, all on accident. My friend was amazed and I choose to tell him it was on perpose.
