Poll: Ever been amazed at something you did... while you weren't paying attention?

The other day I was playing my PSP in the car while my little sibleings were watching a movie on the built-in DVD player, and my mom was having a conversation with grandma in the front seats.
I manged to comment on something in the movie to the kids and hear and understand the confusion it made with my mom and grandma when they thought I was talking to them.
To enumerate:
1) Playing PSP (Super Mario World on emulator)
2) Watching movie
3) Talking (criticizing) about movie
4) Hearing another unrelated conversation and commenting on it as well.
All the time I'm catching, or nearly catching things that are falling or starting to fall from the corner of my eye. Every time I do that I amaze my self because of the lack of attention I had on that object through the whole motion.

More often than people care to admit, they just conclue that I am insane when I run out of my house in my shorts throwing Rennies (Google it if you dont know the reference, its a tablet type thing) at crows... and missing(Put the guns down PETA).dontworryaboutit said:

Well it's not that impressive but I was shocked. I have the reflexes of a dead animal normally, but a few times while studying or on the computer people toss things at me to get my attention because I completely zone out but every time without fail I catch what's thrown at me.
There was this one time when I was just talking to someone with my back to this case shelf. Then I hear a noise and without thinking about it or looking around, I just slam my hand backwards and grab the book that had fallen. I was pretty impressed with myself

Screwing around on Halo 2 (my first time playing). I had the sniper rifle and was running around on top of the blue base while my friend was on the red. I had no idea where anything was and so just started shooting. First bullet got a head-shot.

I talked to my mum while I slept one day. Didn't know about it until my mother told me about it around noon when I woke up.
