Yes, as a matter of fact it has, which was odd because he usually just catches bugs and eats them, used to kill cockroaches and stick them underneath his pet-bed for a snack later on.

He's a Dog.

Years ago we had a cat who would bring whole cabbage leaves to the door, jump up to the window. hang there with the leaf in its mouth and meow until the door was opened for her.

Another cat just started bringing in small, unripe peaches.

My dog accidentally killed a baby bird while trying to show it to me, snapped it's little neck.

I say that he accidentally killed it because he was holding it so softly when he captured it and brought it to me...

You name your cat ARTEMIS and then wonder why it hunts stuff?

(unless I've really messed up my INT roll, Artemis was the Greek God of the Hunt?)
Minor fumble on that roll, Artemis is a Goddess ;)

My old dog had that problem first time it was a mouse, then a bird then another bird then the straw that broke the camels back I heard it pawing the back door at 4 in the morning went down to let it out for a run in the garden put on some tea and the next thing I heard a yelp a full sized bloody fox being dragged to the door by the neck. After that we just sent it back to the bloody shelter.

Today, I saw this thread and said "No, not that I remember." Then, later today (in the evening) he brought us a dead mouse or rat or something, which he promptly exchanged for a cookie (good thing too, as cookies don't normally have parasites.)

My fat lazy cat was so thrilled that he caught a bird that he ran around the entire house with it.

The morning was mildly traumatic, more so for the bird than me though...

It was still alive, but not likely to get up again on its own. Left it outside and another cat took it later.

Indeed it was

At least they bought fruit and veggies. A couple of other cats would hunt and bring us monarch butterflies ;)

Yes, my cats over the years have done that a bit. My last cat would bring them live, I would make her drop them and they would fly/run off, frightened but otherwise unharmed.

Yep, the cat here dropped a bird at the door a few days back. When cats do this, I stalk them for a coupla hours. They will just be siiting there, and me close behind, and all of a sudden they are like WTF!!!!?
Cats learn quick that I can hunt better. One cat I did this with was a huge puma looking thing, real antisocial. I played with it, and hunted it for a bit and after an hour, it came up to me purring and all. My friend, who's flatmate owned the cat, was amazed, not being able to get it to happily sit on her lap.

All the time, and not always in one piece.

Sometimes I think my cat tries to play hide and seek with me, leaving me a little trail of feathers leading to my bed.

if you count a rotten egg, yep. My dog managed to carry a rotten egg across a half acre field, under a fence and up a staircase in her mouth and lay it down at my feet without breaking it... I was thoroughly impressed, and after I tossed it out an open window, I got her a treat.
