I avoid films that I know will be bad and if I ever do want to see them I can just wait for DVD release.

Walked out of nothing in cinema however

Cirque du Soleil, if that counts.

Gangly, headless men and clowns crawling out of manholes did not bode well for my virgin 6-year-old mind.

Not yet, but the closest I've been is the new Alice in Wonderland. Man its a long time since I've been that bored.

My God, I can't believe I sat through two of the worse movies of my life.

The first was Snow Dogs with Paul Walker, the second was Epic Movie. I sat through it, and I regretted every second of it.

I could have used that time doing something more valuable... like nothing.

One film, and one film only.

Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King.

It just bored me, bored me intensely. I can sort of see why other people would like it, and it's very well made, but as a film, it totally and utterly failed to suck me in. After the 15th time of going 'Jesus, is it over yet?' I did something I've never done since and never did before, I just left.

Hell, I sat through Heavens Gate for fucks sake! But not Return Of The King.
Heracy! Really!?! You didn't like Return of The King? You are the first person I have ever heard of who didn't like it. Plenty of people have said it was too long but you actually left. That's amazing.

Just out of interest did you see the Fellowship of The Ring and/or The Two Towers beforehand?

I have never walked out of a movie in a cinema. Then again, I don't go very often. I have watched every movie I have ever seen from start to finish in one go.
Except for Napoleon Dynamite. That was the worst movie ever made. Give me something worse I dare you.

I figure that no matter how terrible it is, I paid for it and dammit, I will get at least some of my moneys worth. Though I was sorely tempted during Bruno and Dragon Wars.

If they started offering refunds to people who walk out, then I might consider it, but until then I stay no matter how terrible it is.

I walked out on "The Blind Side." What a shallow, over-hyped, vaguely racist piece of crap
Oh thank the gods! Someone who didn't like it! I haven't seen it, and refuse to, but everyone keeps saying that it's "such a great movie" and "everyone should see it".
Seriously, if I haven't seen it and make the dear-god-when-will-you-shut-up face every time it's mentioned, I probably don't want to see it.

I have not walked out of a theatre yet, but there always is a first time for everything.

I actually had a really funny time that I technically walked out of a movie, but it really wasn't my fault. What happened was I went with my parents to go and see "Spy Kids" (yes I liked that movie!), and once it started, what was blaring on the silver screen were the words "Freddy Got Fingered!". Both me and my parent respectfully WTF?!'d and walked out of the theater. The movie people had the right one up and running in about 10 minutes, apologizing with free popcorn, so I guess it wasn't all bad. ^-^

I walked out of avatar when they tried to sing that girl back to life. That movie really sucks and district 9 was so much better.

WHY DID IT MAKE SO MUCH MONEY.
Heh, so did my friend Alan.

I was sitting there, having tremendous fun watching the whole thing, and he just stands up, basically goes 'fuck this shit' and leaves.

He then goes and buys some whiskey.
Your friend is a wise fucking man.
I would've done the same thing if I was alone, then I would've made up an ending myself.
The movie would've been so much better if I did that.
OT: No, and I don't plan on doing so.
Seeing how I never go to the cinema alone.

My ex-girlfriend took me to see Twilight (i outright dislike it anyway but i was trying to be nice) I gave up at the part where they were in the forest part and Edward opened his shirt and sparkled like he just fell into a glitter-glue factory. Sorry i'm not one of those "hur hur twilight sucks!" people but it was sooooo cringe-worthy.

*raises flame shield*
dude my MALE friends demand i watch those movies with them so i can make fun of them. Although i won't lie i pissed myself laughing at the forest scene, so glad i was watching that movie at a lan party with them at my house so i could change
