Well, I have walked out of one, but I don't plan on doing it again. It was Beowulf, the plot got insanely ludicrous for me.

I left Meet the Spartans during the "leave Britney alone" part, that's the only time I've walked out in the theaters. I stop dvds all the time though.

I walked out of The Blair Witch Project.

I walked out of the 3D screening of Avatar and refunded it for a ticket for the 3D one.

3D makes me really sick.

No, but my father and I walked out of a live theatre production that my father himself paid 2000 rand ($250) for. It was Swan Lake on Ice that my mother convinced the whole family to see. OH my... If you value you soul, and the contents of your wallet, do not watch that performance. I actually, genuinely puked afterwards (and it wasn't because of the crappy theatre treats!)

My friend walked out of The Spirit, and he was my ride, so I had to leave too. Pissed me off, because I loved the movie. Apparently, the shining teeth was just too much.

Luckily, I found the movie on DVD for about 5 dollars about a month after its DVD release. Still love it, though I admit I'm in a very small minority.
I sat through the Spirit on my own, but others in the cinema talked all the way through, so I couldn't work out what was going on. I watched all the way through the storyboard-esque credits (which I think are the best I've seen in a movie) and I didn't know if I liked the movie or not. It took me a second viewing on DVD to work out I liked it.

I went to Twilight: New Moon with some friends to make fun of it. It was pretty damn funny, but we left about 2/3 through because we got bored.

Sigh, I walked out on Bwuno. After seeing Borat is was so hyped about it, then I got to see it and... it just turned out to be one and a half hours of, quite literal, anal rape...

Hey, same! That's the only movie I've ever walked out on in my life. I couldn't even get through a half hour of it.

Only one to my recollection and that was About Shmit. Old people talking about sex made me squirm.
HAHAHAHAHA I know EXACTLY what you're talking about!

I've walked out of the Mist because it was disgustingly stupid violent. I keep thinking I've walked out on another movie but I can't think of it. It's not something I like or really want to do but that certainly doesn't mean movie makers can relax...

I usually don't. I usually don't see things I know will suck.

But then, The Informant! looked pretty funny. So we went to see it. I can honestly say it was the worst movie I've ever seen. It's on the verge of being so bad it's funny, but doesn't hit it, so it's just TERRIBLE. Honestly, I can't believe people like this shit. You must be pretty simple to find his "jokes" funny. Here's an example:

Inside Matt Damon's head:
"Corn. Everythings made of corn. I wonder why. Corn? Jee. Corn."

*crickets*

I am so glad I walked out after an hour of that bull.

But I really should have seen it coming. It's from Steven Soderbergh, the asshole that brought us such crap as Michael Clayton and Syriana. Pseudo-intellectual cinematography and terrible dialogue are the defining features of these films.

Edit; changed mark wahlberg to matt damon. they do look the exact same.

I was going to watch Twilight and try to find good things about it... only movie I have ever walked out of. I didn't walk away from New Moon because I turned it into a game where I could count the parts that would single handedly destroy a relatively good movie. I only counted one but it never seemed to end.

other than that, the only movie I have been close to walking out of is The Road. that was a fucking depressing movie and I think a part of me died that day.

The Thin Red Line, only film EVER. Including Titanic.

It annoyed me to do it, but still, some things are too bad.
I hated that film when I saw, think I fell asleep at one point, considered walking out, but stayed to the end. And still hated it (mainly because I found the voice overs so annoying). Then I saw it a few years later and I started to like it. Because it was on DVD I could skip all the parts I hated and just get to the parts I liked. Long story short, After about 5 times watching just small parts of it, I now love it and all Terrence Mallick's films. Looking back I realise I didn't get his style of film-making, and at the time it was released it was being compared to Saving Private Ryan, but in fact it's a completely different type of movie.

The only movie I've ever walked out on was Tommy (The Who). For the rest I just go to sleep.
