I haven't walked out of a movie yet, but I wish I had when I was tricked into seeing the latest, God-awful Punisher movie.

And I thankfully never payed to waste a half-hour of my life, or Napoleon Dynamite in other words. I consider making it 30 minutes through that movie as an accomplishment, and a testament to my mental-stability.

I usually try not to walk out on movies, mostly 'cause my dad pays for the tickets for both of us, but I've been sorely tempted to. During War of the Worlds I actually fell asleep on my dad, as I had a mild cold, but I was tempted to just walk out of the theatre and take a nap in his Camaro and it would've been less depressing.

I've never walked out of a movie no matter how bad it was, although I got been kicked out of Kick-Ass recently which sucked. Saw it a couple days later and it was awesome :)

Never walked out of a Cinema before

But I have turned of quite a few DvDs The worst one of which was Bruno
My Cousin thought that would be a good birthday present for my Dad's 45th
I watched it with my Dad and my brother not knowing what we were about to see We turned it off 10 mins in out of sheer disgust.

You should have just walked out anyway. Would have been epic.

I typically only go to the theater for mediocre movies and save the good ones for rental. The most fun I ever had watching a movie was Black Christmas because it just devolved into everyone in the theater making jokes. The same thing happened with Dragon Wars and Law Abiding Citizen. I even sat through The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course for Christ's sake.

My thought process is that after I spend $8.00 on a ticket you better believe that I'm going to stick around through the whole thing, if only to make fun of it afterward.

Nope even if the movie sucked, I want to get my 10 dollars worth so I grin and bear it.

Except one time I was at a movie with my brother and we were forced to leave. A lot of people were underage in the theater, this huge fight happened between the security guards and the people in the theater so the police were called and everyone had to leave.

Once, when i was a kid. It was the Hunchback of Notre-Dame,the old disney flick. I kicked up such a fuss about that film, and i watched F**king Beauty and the beast! But in my later years i'll watch a movie and even if it's terrible i'll watch it just so i can tell people it's crap, i won't waste my money. For example watched "The Box" a few months back (for those who haven't seen it....DON'T!) And i sat through it, just so when it was finished i could stand and express my displeasure to the rest of the audience by saying "What the F*ck?" To my friends a good few times :p

One film, and one film only.

Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King.

It just bored me, bored me intensely. I can sort of see why other people would like it, and it's very well made, but as a film, it totally and utterly failed to suck me in. After the 15th time of going 'Jesus, is it over yet?' I did something I've never done since and never did before, I just left.

Hell, I sat through Heavens Gate for fucks sake! But not Return Of The King.
I fell asleep in both The Two Towers AND Return of the King. They're walking! They're fighting! They're walking! They're fighting! They're discussing something that must have happened while I was asleep... annnnd walking. And walking.

I didn't enjoy either of them in the theater (only went because my family love LotR, paid my ticket, and were my ride) but my dad somehow convinced me to sit through a marathon of all three movies when we got them on DVD, and only then did I finally figure out what was going on enough to have fun.

That fucking ending was cringe-worthy.
Man, I'm glad I never saw the ending. That's the only movie I've ever actually walked out of a theater for. I left two-thirds of the way through because I was tired of being depressed.

Personally, I don't care how much money the tickets are. If a movie is horrible, I'd rather let the theater have 8 bucks and go do something that's actually fun.

Nope, never have, probably never will. I guess I'm just quite tolerant, but so far in my entire life I've only seen *one* movie that was so bad I might've walked out on it if I were seeing it in a cinema. I still finished it though, that's just me. I just find many movies, even the ones everybody hates (I.e. In The Name Of The King), to be at the very least entertaining enough to finish.

2012. Beautiful cinematography and more dramatic plane take offs than you could ever hope for, but it was just not a good movie. It failed to do anything to entertain anyone other than film majors and people who love dramatic plane take offs. But thats it, as far a I can remember. If I'm bored I just fall asleep usually.
