I can't bring myself to pay a subscription for a game. It's inconceivable. As much as I love Star Wars and BioWare (and KOTOR), this is a no go.

If it wasn't for being an MMO... (because i don't want to pay monthly something that won't achieve anything than just a character customization and leveling, when i can do that by just paying 30 or 50 bucks and that's it.)

basically i hate MMO's, they waste my precious time.

Its BioWare and thats pretty much reason enough for me to at least try it out. Considering they said the game will be possible to play solo from start to finish and have strong storyline mode rather than your avarage grind-your-butt-off mmo can always just play for the 30 days free that come with a retail and then eventually not subscribe further.

I might have been excited for this had they made it entirely seperate from KotOR's story, and thus not completely fuck over two game's worth of the greatest Star Wars story ever told.

But alas, they did fuck over the greatest Star Wars story ever told, so Bioware can go and die in a fire for this bullshit.

As you can see, I have very strong feelings over this.

I'm super-excited - I got a new PC pretty much just to be able to play it! I have the utmost faith in Bioware to make an incredible game, even an MMO.

Obsidian already did that for BioWare, so y'know...

My sentiments exactly, I think my PC should be able to handle it... It can run Dragon Age pretty well, so I think I'll be fine.

I've chosen my class as well... Consular FTW!!

I really hope that there is diversity in the player base, I'm scared that most people will play as a specific faction/class, making your experience seem pretty mundane.

I'm probably going to be a bounty hunter - I'm sure way too many people are going to be force users.

By the time this comes out, I should have a job, so yeah, the subscription fee won't be a problem and this shall be my first MMO. =)

As much as I loved KOTOR and star wars in general, I don't trust myself with an mmo and am a cheap bastard that doesn't want to pay a subscription.

I really can't wait for it. I am a bit skeptical as I am with all games now, but it looks really good.

They charge per month right? If they do I won't be getting it, as I know I won't be interested in it for too long.
but isn't that the beauty of subscriptions? when you get board you can just cancel the subscription, not like when you buy a game, and then have spent $60 on something you're only going to play for a month.
but the game is yours forever, while subscription means you have to buy the game anyways initially, PLUS pay for that super annoying monthly subscription, which after 4 months or so it adds up to the price of the game, which is a load of crock

i never ever wanted to play mmo's up until this point...but i honestly might get this (considering im a major star wars/kotor/bioware fan)

it might..just...turn me to the dark side (mmo side that is)
