It's better then the Fallout spinoffs, about equal to Fallout 1 but it's not as good as Fallout 2. The game probably seems allot better to a person who didn't play Fallout 1 & 2 back in the day or are have played them recently and is very sensitive to old graphics.
its not perfect i know nothing is we humans can get so close to perfect we can nearly reach it sometimes other times it seems like perfect is on neptune or in obamas brain i also dont hink theres going to be a flame war everyones free to opinion no matter how outrageous it is

its pretty fun and all, but i call it one of those "tool games", the games without multiplayer that you blow off all your online friends to play
Fallout 3 was great. Anyone who thinks its shit is an idiot.
Considering that people have differing opinions, a person can say: "I would never play it, but I can understand why some people would, it looks ok" at worst (because they might not like sci-fi, or violence, or whatever) without being a complete idiot, any worse than that, and your opinion is wrong.

I'm on 120 hours so I'd say it's good. I have tired a little of the game mechanics a bit, so I'm taking a break to play Farhenhiet and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Mods vastly improve the game. To some people, the mods are the best thing about the game. Personally I'm not a huge fan of mods but I did find myself indulging in them.
Fallout 3 was gd and the add ons make it even better but its really buggy and the voice actors have been heavily recycled you would think each main character would sound differnt but they dont.
