Considering I've never played Fallout 3, Borderlands. But, from what I've heard, I'd probably like Borderlands better anyways.

Also, just to let you know, a lot of people are probably going to bombard you with a chant of "No versus threads," which you really should try to avoid in the future as it is frowned upon by this site.

And finally, welcome to the Escapist!

I only played Fallout 3 for about an hour or two. And I've never played Borderlands. It just doesn't appeal to me.

So I'm gonna have to go with Fallout 3.

NO. ONE. LIKES. VERSUS THREADS.

I know you may be new, but please. Don't do a versus thread.

I like versus threads. They can show how the escapist feels about certain game genres, btw I prefered Fallout 3 as the RPg element in the game was just bigger and better.

I always expect the Spanish in question.

Unless... you mean the SPANISH INQUISITION! Dun-dun-dun~!

Fallout 3, everything in that game has context, unlike Borderlands which is fun and has better shooting mechanics but is ultimately shallow and far less rewarding.

Fallout 3 is kind of a love or hate kind of thing.
If anything i thought it just felt really miserable and unpolished, i prefer Borderlands by far :p

I did every quest in the game (including the unmarked quests) and it only took me about 60 hours.

"Only 60"? I don't know about you but 60 seems like quite a nice tally to me.

I personally preferred Fallout, it's far less linear and it feels as if they actually made something original and artistic.

Whereas Borderlands simply shoves it's cell shading in your face and hopes that will make up for the glaring unoriginality elsewhere.
