Poll: Fallout 3 or Elder Scrolls IV

I never got into fallout 3 primarily because my friend talked about it soooo much that i wanted to get everygame and ram them into all his orephuses so that would be ruled out

I personaly thought Morrowind was the best i loved the stroyline and the graphics were very gd, and the expansions were very fun .

I put my vote in fallout's box, after all Fallout 1 was the beginning of my love of post apocalypticness... i mean it had a solid story tons of exploration and little funny things in it and like... groin shots with a turbo plasma rifle... what's not to love

Fallout 3 all the way. The issue with Oblivion is that they all took themselves seriously. At least Fallout 3 had a sense of humor...

Oh and you can have rocket launchers in Fallout 3...

Nothing beats the amount of time I spent with Morrowind.

Except for modded Oblivion, but since I essentially just tried to mod it to be more like Morrowind I didn't count it.

I prefer oblivion, but it has one of the worst leveling systems since final fantasy 2 *(the japanese unreleased in america ff2)

Fallout 3 didn't really draw me into the game.
Oblivion had me spending almost 2 and a half years on it.

Definitely Morrowind or Daggerfall. Discovered the series at Morrowind though, so I'll have to go for Morrowind. I enjoyed Oblivion too, just not as much. Never really got in to Fallout 3, though I really liked Fallout 2.

Fallout 2 wins; I suspect Fallout 3 will win because not many actually played Fallout 2, but Fallout 2 destroys Fallout 3, Deathclaws down.

Morrowind = best Elder scrolls game.

Fallout 3 is basically Bethesda taking Oblivion, improving some of the gameplay, putting it in the future and dropping a nuke on it. so obviously Fallout 3 is better

Very hard to choose here.

However, the setting and the epic faction quest chains make oblivion my absolute favourite here. Followed by Morrowind and Fallout 3. As good as F3 was, I just couldn't get into the whole "guns" thing for a 1st person RPG (wanted to melee too often while playing).

The satisfaction of completing the thief's guild final mission or the dark brotherhood chain was far greater than that of completing fallout 3.


Personal preference really, they're all great games.

Between Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3, I would have to say Oblivion is my favorite by a tiny, and I do mean tiny, bit and the other two are tied for second. I haven't experienced all of Morrowind yet, (only done the main quest and Bloodmoon main quest so far) so my opinion may change.

On that list, I've only played Fallout 3 and Oblivion. So that makes picking Fallout 3 the obvious choice.

It's a funny story though. I hated Fallout 3 the first time I played it. Probably because I made my character poorly and I accidently killed myself one time but I just couldn't really sit through it anymore...

A month later I was away on vacation and for whatever reason all I wanted to do was play Fallout 3...That was about...November and I haven't stopped playing it since. I beat it twice, got all of the achievements, and played through all of the DLC and I'm still playing it....

I can sit here and play it for hours even on my third time through. And I'm STILL finding places I missed on my first two playthroughs.

I liked Fallout 3 a lot more. I'm just a hell of a lot more interested in nuclear apocalypse than fantasy worlds.

Fallout 3 was in my opinion, MUCH better than oblivion, it was just a more polished, more immersive game, with tongue in cheek humor to boot.

Fallout 3 was much better than oblivion. Not only did it have a better leveling system, but each place that you traveled(even just the ruins themselves) all seemed new and exciting. As opposed to Oblivion's, "Hey, there is a dungeon! Oh, there is another one three feet from this dungeons exit? and its practically identical? How exciting..."
