Poll: Fallout 3 or [PROTOTYPE]?

What a bizarre comparison - one of the greatest games of this or any other generation vs......Prototype. With the GOTY edition, you're getting 100 dollars worth of pure awesome for half that. It's not even a choice, it would be like asking if you should get Half-Life 2 or Army of Two.

I have both, but never really got into Fallout 3. Although I think you'll get more of your moneys worth with Fallout.

Loved Fallout 3 ,proto was cool and fun and stuff but fallout 3 has more gameplay hours , awsome DLC and mods when proto was just fun.
Fallout 3 has more story , and it has pretty good action.

I'm going to go with the unpopular opinion, just for giggles. No shits. [Prototype]. Because I played Prototype for two weeks, whereas I played Fallout for three days(mainly because I just don't have the time ATM, but I LOVED Oblivion, and will be playing Fallout eventually).

Fallout 3, by a mile. Sure Prototype is a pretty entertaining hack & slash game, but Fallout 3 will get you a buttload more playtime, especially if you include the DLC.

I can't judge Prototype cause I didn't play it.

But I did play Fallout 3. I would give it a B. It's memorable thanks to the Wasteland. Fallout 3 will appeal to you if you like:

1. apocalyptic wasteland- it can get lonely
2. the combat mechanic- press pause and blow heads off; rinse and repeat
3. talking trash to the Wasteland citizens; dialogue options lets you do that
4. murdering people in their sleep, eating their flesh, and pickpocketing people
5. meeting vampires, deformed people, and other wackos

I loved Prototype, but Fallout 3 is one of my top 5 games of all time.

Prototype is worth having if you like having awesome super powers and enjoy killing large quanities of innocent people in brutally awesome ways. It also lasts for about eight or so hours. Fallout 3, I've clocked over a hundred hours, and still plan on more.

They are both fun in their own ways, it really just depends on what kind of games you play.

You are honestly comparing these two games? seriously....? It's not a question.
First of all let's fix this sentence. It should be inFamous or Fallout 3 as they are both two shining examples of modern gaming in the last year or so (prototype doesn't even enter into it).
That being said, even if it was inFamous in the running, I would still say Fallout 3. It's very well done and I not being a fan of Oblivion at all (despite wasting 120 hours on the cursed game), but loving fallout 1, 2 and even tactics was a major fan of Bethesda's faithful adaption of one of the best videogame franchises ever concieved.
Fallout > inFamous >--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prototype (shudder).
