Maybe. If it's done in the fashion of fallout 2. Sure fallout 3 was a good game, but The original fallouts just PWN EVERYTHING!

I'm interested in seeing what exactly happened to the UK in the Fallout universe, pretty much all we know is that it's not in great shape (if Tenpenny's backstory is to be trusted) but whether or not it should just be set in London is a separate matter. Remember that the UK can fit into some of the US states size-wize, so whether or not one city would provide a wide enough area of exploration is the main flaw in the idea of Fallout: London.

Edit: And that's not just my opinion as a Northerner, no, not at all

I think fallout Australia, just imagine. They already have spiders the size of cars and some of the worlds most dangerous animals, what if they mutated?

Meh, Hellgate London was rather boring and a fallout set in it's universe would not be the same thing as usa. Thus somewhere in between, like Sweden of Africa would be interesting.
Sweden is not an exciting place has low population density and its mainly country side how would make good game.
Yes, and with their luck, the Swedes would have probably evaded even a nuclear apocalypse. So it would still be sunshine and green hills.

I've thought about this before, and I came to the conclusion, being a hardcore Fallout fan, that it would be a horrible idea, probably with hideous implementation. You know the way that the Fallout universe is a shithole? Well, imagine even worse when it came to England. The place would have been bombed into a single, country-wide crater, beyond the point where you could reasonably make any suspensions of disbelief.
So, Milton Keynes then.

Seriously, putting any American in charge of recreating England is as doomed as the English trying to do America, perhaps more so.

Unless you actually live (t)here, you'd be amazed how parodied your memories are; and if you've not been, there's no way you'll get it right.

Oh lord yes. Aside from the obvious reasons of the amazing landmarks, great accents and a more scarce use of guns (I should hope- Fallout suffered from overpowering characters with more firearms than they could carry D:) there would be, of course...
No Americanna!

Though I suppose being overtly American is something of a parody theme that makes Fallout what it is. A mockery of Cold War tensions.

I'd want Fallout Germany.

It'd be more military/war oriented. You would be part of the People's Militia or some such from somewhere in Western Europe. Anyway, you guys would be somewhere to the West of Germany (probably start somewhere in France) and you guys are slowly fighting your way through in a war campaign against a Fascist Enclave-style government called the New Dawn from Germany. Either way, the game ends with you charging and taking the Reichstag with your faction's symbol.

However on your way into Germany you can choose straight invasion, spy, double agent, defected spy, or even join the enemy (however if you do this the Militia you betrayed takes so much of Germany and you have to charge your way to the Reichstag, just so the ending stays the same). Choosing the spy option, you could run around as a normal civilian caught up in the mess and watch street battles and such occur every so often, by insurgents inside enemy lines. In addition there could be a side quest for smuggling or kidnapping leaders/soldiers/hostages.The Militia would be an anarcho-communist organization, just to turn the whole anti-communism thing on its head, as to make an ironically humorous Fallout experience.

I say yes because I really wonder what happened to Europe in the story. The game have Asia and America covered nice and completely but not a word is said about the rest of the world.

Depends how global warming is handled in relation to the mass nuclear devastation. All that excess radiation lying around likely melted the ice caps, thus halting the oceanic currents that make that section of Europe habitable.

But yeah, it would be fun to change from dandy American 50's to swinging London 60's.
This SO hard. Old London morphed with that special 60's space age style would make an amazing setting. It might not be completely canon compliant, but it would be so awesome to stretch the Fallout timeline just ten years so we can wear mod suits and minis instead of poodle skirts and fedoras when we gun down super mutants in the Globe.
