I'm about two hours in (on PC, it only unlocked like 3h ago) and the only problem I've encountered was a single freeze. Despite that, I'm really enjoying it.

This newest patch is a god sent. It was not holding on to my autosaves, or even my quick saves and I was tired of getting to level 10 only to be bumped back to level 5 by a crash. The only other time I bugged out was with the Come Fly With Me Mission. the Bright guy attacked me for o good reason.
Has this patch fixed the bug that crashes the game within 12 hours of play?

I am rather indifferent upon the matter as I can't play New Vegas until the 11th of November. Stupid Year 12 exams getting in between me and my lovely copy of New Vegas Collectors Edition just sitting on my desk begging to be played

I have the PS3 version and so far, I only encountered one major glitch (and no others besides that). I talked to some Deputy dude and when I told him I wasn't interested in becoming or finding a Sheriff, I went to walk away, the game froze for a second and my PS3 force-restarted. Other than that, everything's been fine. (Knock on wood...)

I had my autosave and my normal save corrupted after clearing my cache. So I lost 8 hours of progress <3. I do have alot of crashes, but that is probably due to my xbox360 being one of the oldest versions. (I bought it second hand about 2.5 years ago)

Apart from that.. there are a few glitches.. but nothing hindering my playtime. Oh apart from the lag. :p

I have played the game for HOURS so far on the XBOX 360 version of Fallout: New Vegas, and I have NOT encountered ANY bugs/glitches. I would give the game 10/10 it is brilliant.

I pre ordered new vegas about 3 or 4 months ago, per loaded it on steam before launch, then when it came out, it was rendered unplayable, i can't look at npc's without a TREMENDOUS amount of lag. I hope they fucking fix it.
Well, picked it up this morning at a local Gameshop (Europe). PC Version.
Same problem, Whenever there is more than 5 NPC in my sight of view, my FPS goes on strike.
Fiddling with the graphic setting doesn't help at all. From "Low" in 1024 to Ultra in 1920, same FPS droping to zilch problem.

Got a Quad 9550 2.13, 250 GTS MSi boosted, 6 Go of DDR2 ram with Win7. And even running with Game booster.

Beside it's not like the game engine is a beautifull one ? Common it's not even DirectX 1x compatible.

Hard to listen to PC players ***** about the game.. since most PC gaming issues are on the actually PC itself and not something the game is doing.

While it's true that it's the person PC that can be of problem. I on the other hand have hard time believing, that it's not the game itself that have many issue. Since it even bug, freeze and crash on the generic hardware that is console.

My Pc is way above the recommanded setting, weekly keeped up to date with the new drivers.
So, by deduction, it's the game that pose issues.

Well Fallout 3 had glitches all over the place, one would think by their second build they would learn some new tricks...

Guess I'll be waiting until they patch sh*t up, save file corrupts are the worse, I can't even believe in 2010 a triple A title game still comes with these issues.

I just had some lag and only one time that it froze.

Also, one of my guns does no damage sometimes. D:
(But then, all I have to do is reequip it and it works fine.) :D

No corrupt save files......at least not yet.....and I've been playing for almost 20 hours now.

I'm lovin' it so far.......

Five hours in, game is amazing, not a single bug so far.
Yay! I suspect we won't see much of you for the next few weeks. :)

OT: Mostly just crashes. 360 version. I did have a few times where textures disappeared, and objects, mostly the little pieces of trash on the ground, popped in and out of existence.

But aside from the crashes - which is something I experienced with Fallout 3 until the first patch - all the other problems are the same kinds of problems I've had with any large sandbox game. When you have a huge area that has no load screens, I imagine it's difficult to control. Thus those glitches.

But I love the game anyway. Not even the fear of save file corruption could stop me from playing, I'll just move a few saves to a memory stick.

I think people suggest to save in multiple slots and not rely on autosave as that can get corrupted too.

However on PC I have 1000 save slots so I'm not worried :D

PC here, and I've seen one graphics glitch (a dude that stretched out like Stretch Armstrong's bloody corpse as I Falcon PAWNCHed his ass, but honestly, it just made it more epic) and I have the Auto Saves reverting to earlier saves glitch. But as long as you don't noob it up and rely only on auto saves, you should be fine.

Also, Best Fallout game ever, imo. All the flavor and style of 1 and 2 with the immersion of 3. Hooyeah!

PS3 here. Aside from some major lag a lot during the game (like things taking a while to load.) In my first 3 hours I've had to restart due to getting stuck in a rock next to a fridge and a bear trap.
