Well I live in Sweden and tomorrow (22/10-2010) is a happy day for tomorrow "Fallout: New Vegas" is released. However like expected with a game that has an open world and a lot of content it also has a lot of bugs (beside the radroach kind).
One bug in perticular is giving me the chills, there is a bug that will corrupt your save files after about 12 hours of gameplay.
Bethesda has apparently given official announcements that they will patch the game ASAP.

Has this bug given you any problems?
Do you know when the patch will be out?

EDIT:
The bug is most prominent on the "Xbox 360" (sorry that I forgot to name that).
I experienced that save game glitch as I was playing the game, but I managed to work around it by manually renaming my auto and quicksaves so that they would show up as "normal" saves. The advice I can give really is to use the "Normal" save options often, as well as to restart the game every few hours just to be safe. I managed to beat the game a few days ago, so this method worked out fine for me.

Oh, and I wrote a user review on this site [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.240243] for the game if you are interested. :)

PC version here! I've been experiencing a number of graphical hiccups, it it seems like I'm not the only one. I updated the drivers on my graphics card, but kept getting bizarre visual anomalies.

I'm told that the problem is that the game is detecting the wrong shaders on my card, and that there is a mod to fix that.

In the meantime, I'm playing Resonance of Fate, while I wait for the modders to convert all the best FO3 mods to NV!

The whole game is broken. New Vegas sucks ass.

12 hours in, not a single crash.
That vid is awesome
I returned mine for full refund cuz it crashed at the same point in the first quest over and over. I don't intend to ever get it again.

The only glitch or bug I've had has been a floating Legion Mongrel. He was floating there, I shot him once with a 9MM pistol and he slowly but surely floated his way across the room. It's probably been one of the most hilarious things I've seen. I'm loving the game so far, was kind of disappointed I didn't get the excorcist glitch. On Xbox360 btw!

I ran into the corrupt save bug after "Come fly with me" quest and I avoided picking up the space suit as well. Something about completing that quest and going back to that area bugs the game and saves won't reload for me. Without spoiling, a lot of scripting and possible out comes are involved in the quest so its possible I just picked the right stuff.

Other then that just minor video glitches like the dogs eyes popping out the side of his head.

PC version BTW

34 hours so far on my PS3 version-- I've experienced quite a few glitches. Most of them tend to involve quests. It seems like doing anything in the wrong order from what the game expects can cause dead-end quests. For like, no reason. Plus my companions are retarded and never equip what I tell them to. Also, it freezes a lot.

But I've still played 34 hours of it, so.

They have a;ready released a patch that fixes all of the major bugs. I haven't found any game breakers yet and they released the patch the day the game came out in the UK so I can only assume that the same, or a similar patch, will be available for download in Sweden. Don't worry about it.

I've been playing for over 20 hours and have yet to experience any bugs. Call me lucky. I love this damn game.

I'm just over 20 hours in to my game on the 360 version and although I've run into a few minor glitches that sorted themselves out and two bloody irritating ones that required reloads/reboots (one time all terminals and consoles in the game wouldn't display their contents and the other time my character wouldn't holster his current weapon and would automatically fire off a round or two upon entering a new area) I've never come across corrupted save files. Thankfully.

Yes, there are bug issues, but I don't think they're as big an issue as some people are making them out to be (either that or my version of the game likes me) because in truth 20+ hours of gameplay and only five or six glitches is fairly good (well, better than Fallout 3 at any rate) for a game people are saying is 'unplayably buggy'.

Had 1 crash on the 360 version, but i don't blame the game, i blame the console... it has a tendency to not like new games ¬_¬!

Think of it as Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, Woody didn't like Buzz at first, tried to get rid of him hell even tried to brake him at one point...

But in the end they grow to love each other =D

I think the PC version is the one that's unplayable because of the saving issue, although i think that's been resolved now.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Yea my Vegas play through is totally fucked. The President of the NCR just died off-screen with no explanation, and the quest where you need to save him auto-failed the second I got it, also no one from the BoS would speak anymore because they'd gone into what the wiki calls an "Error State" so instead of having them as allies, if I'd hoped to finish anything I had to kill all of them.

3 hangs, 2 stuck in objects and my favorite - i clicked on to some random NPC from NCR and for no reason the faction balance suddenly changed from Liked to loathed and the whole damn base opened up a can of whoop ass on me... love the game but sooooo unimpressed with the bugs

I'm 18 hours in, besides a few minor graphic glitches, it's all good.

360 version.
Same here, with one quite major (though not game-breaking) glitch that was easily resolved by reloading a save. The problems with this game are exaggerated.

Ah, fair do's. I've only got experience with the 360 version, maybe it's worse on other platforms. I feel for people who (for whatever reason) aren't online to receive Bethesda's patches though. That's gotta sting.

About 8 hours in on a battered old 360. Aside from one freeze-up, and an odd propensity for my arms and gun not to crouch down with me when I sneak, I haven't had any serious problems. But I haven't got to the bit with the spacesuit yet, so who knows.

I've played it for 2 days straight pretty much (on the Xbox 360) and have only encountered one glitch when it crashed on me. Apart from that, nothing has gone wrong.
