All of the dlcs were "bonerific" (pardon my French)...except for Honest Hearts. Yeah it was pretty and all and I got a kick from hunting geckos, but it simply didn't leave me satisfied. Compare that to the Ulysses story arc, beginning with the heist of the impenetrable Sierra Madre to the zany Big MT to the ash of the Divide, and Honest Hearts gets blown out of the water and into the stratosphere.

Speaking of Lonesome Road, goddamn was it awesome. I'm in the minority here, but I really liked this linear structure of the dlc. You are here for one thing and one thing only - to hunt Ulysses down; not to rummage around a large area like Big MT. I'm not saying that the whole game should be like this, but, here, a linear environment just...fits.

Atmosphere. Atmosphere. Atmosphere. Walking around the ruins of "America's last chance of making a true comeback", fighting off radioactive monstrosities, and that minute where you actually enter the Divide after fighting of the tunneler hoards and see how fucked up this place really is was simply awe inspiring. I may sound like I'm riding Obsidian's dick right now, but I have to give credit where credit is due. This is why New Vegas sits at the top of my personal "Greatest Games of All Time" list - Obsidian knows what it's doing and is loving it. I will be very disappointed if Obsidian doesn't play some kind of role in Fallout 4.

I loved them all, except for Dead Money. Dead Money can fuck off. Seriously man I was glad to get out with one solid gold dead weight. Loved Old World Blues, very funny and the senile Doctor robots were well written and tugged my heart strings a little. Thanks to the folks at HMV who sold me Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition with all DLC (I paid for a second hand normal version), I have all DLC installed. I have yet to try Lonesome Road. Is it any good? I might play it tommorrow

Yes, play it now! Word to the wise, if you're not at a high level or have very powerful explosive weapons/ a very powerful Holorifle with the strongest version of microfusion cells or don't have the Revenant Power Armor or if you don't have any of the above, you are going to have a very, very bad time. Also, don't discard of the flare gun - it will be your friend against tunnelers and deathclaws.

Also, don't be so pissed off at DM. It takes a second playthrough to really appreciate it. Trust me. I hated it at first because of how different it was (more survival-like, scary, dark, dead serious; also because of those damn radios) compared to the rest of the game, but playing it again can put everything in perspective - the characters, the background information, and even the survival aspect.

Old World Blues is basically the only reason I like Fallout: New Vegas as much as I do (actually, funny enough, I like FO:NV... but not the Mojave. I even like Zion more than the Mojave, and it's the Mojave with cliffs).

If they could've made an entire game based off of Old World Blues, it would have been THE BEST GAME EVER.

Edit: Okay I need to say this, I really have to.

THEY'RE HOLDING UP FIVE FULLY ERECT HAND PENISES!

I died. Oh Lord I love the Think Tank.

I liked Honest Hearts, just from the atmosphere. Big open area, everything comparatively lush and beautiful, and once I found the Survivalist's caches, I was hooked. The various tribes were relatively un-interesting, and the fetch quests were dull, but I just liked the area in and of itself. Plus the "Burned Man" was quite cool. I also have a thing for Colt .45s.

None.

I was so appalled by Dead Money that it completely discouraged me from buying any others. In fact I've barely touched any of New Vegas since, I thought it was that goddamned terrible that it ruined the entire New Vegas franchise for me.

OWB is the only dlc that had the fallout feel for me. DM was too linear and restrictive, HH was waaay to short and only had one option as far as factions went, and Lonesome road felt more like 1 long quest instead of an adventure.

Dead Money, probably because it was the first video game environment in awhile to actually scare me. The Ghost men freaked the living fuck out of me. Honest Hearts is kinda bland, but scores major points for introducing this badass.

I totally buy that he was Legate before Lanius.

Old World Blues is...well I actually think it's kinda annoying. I know everyone really likes it (and the humor is pretty good) but the gameplay sections just really seemed to drag. The robot scorpions are a pain.

Haven't played the Lonesome Road.

OWB. It has some of the funniest lines in the entire game. Also, you talk to your own brain.

I loved them all, primarily due to the underlying story that each one is telling. Individually they were all great diversions from the Mojave.

I found Honest Hearts to be the weakest of the lot, but I was way to high a level for it and blitzed in under 4 hours... the area is a little bland, but it's got a refreshing character to it. Also the Burned Man was a brilliant character. A cut above the others in terms of writing. A shame the tribals sort of shat on his character by being all clueless bumpkins.

I loved Dead Money. The atmosphere, the characters, and the plot itself were all major draws. Level design and the gimmicks employed weren't particularly inspiring, but they were, again, a refreshing change of pace.

Old World Blues was just a joy. So much stuff to do, great humour, interesting plot and huge perks to completing it. By and far, the most rewarding of DLCs.

Lonesome Road. I thought this had the best atmosphere... so much so that returning to the Mojave to finish things up felt lacking in comparison. Ulysses is a very intense character and a major change from your typical power hungry nut jobs that were the man figures of power in the Mojave. Someone who just wants the world to burn and you with it.

New Vegas is one of the best games in this generation as far as I'm concerned.

Dead money was more linear, but it had great atmosphere, and made the gameplay in a Fallout game challenging for once.
Just out of curiosity, by gameplay in a Fallout game, do you also mean the first two Fallout games? I found those games pretty difficult. Especially if you don't know what you're supposed to be doing or where you're supposed to go.

If you didn't find those games challenging then wow. I clearly must be doing something wrong in those games. XD

OWB tried way too hard to be funny most of the time. lol the computer keeps mistaking appendages for penises. lol one of the characters was bullied in school and now has elaborate revenge fantasies.

Yeah I know I'm harsh on Dead Money, I just have bad memories of starting a new character with hopes and dreams of treasures. I was so naive I ignored the level warning and as a result spent the whole time with no health, no skills and had to run away from most of my enemies......Dead Money made a man out of "Geremy Bummington". He learned what fear was that day.

Gotta go with OWB, though all four of them were pretty terrible. None of the Fallout 3 DLC was as bad as any of the NV DLC.

Playing through the DLC right now.

I've played Old World Blues and Honest Hearts, and am currently working through Dead Money. So far, Dead Money is my favorite, but Honest Hearts made me laugh alot.
