I refuse to give Bethesda money for more Fallout 3.

They've done nothing mods don't do already.

Let it die, Beth. Let it die.

If my PC was up to par, but sadly it is not.
So instead I will go with an Xbox rental, which is the only advantage consoles have over PC's.(the advantage is the ability to rent games before having to pay 60$)

PC. Also to those who believe the 360 DLC exclusivity, it's only temporary. "Bill Gates has purchased temporary exclusivity for the DLC on Xbox 360. "

Under DLC.

PC, for free updates and the promising future of mods.

I wish I could have gotten one of the uber awesome collectors editions though. But the Steam edition has it's own perks.
Nothing physical though. This is always a shame with systems like Steam :(

Definatly getting it on the ps3. The 360 is just to unreliable to buy any new games for and pc offers me nothing at all. Plus I much prefer the big comfy chair, a 114" screen and a controller to a pc.
You do know that you can hook your PC to the TV and that 360 controllers work out of the box for PCs too?
You can hook most computers up to most tvs however you cant hook up my laptop to a projector so that doesnt work. Thats just the one problem another is that I despise steam and refuse to support them and their overpriced games.
My friend hooks his laptop to his HD big ass TV all the time.

And what?0_0 STEAM is over priced? wait what? I got New Vegas for 50 bucks there! and two serious Sam games for 7 dollars, l4d2 for 6 dollars. My friend got TF2 for 2.50$. I got portal for free as well as alien swarm. What else....Oh Company of heroes gold edition for 12 dollars. Left for dead 1 for 7.5 a year ago.

How is that over priced?

360. I need to be sitting or laying down nice and comfortably playing it on a massive HD TV. I can't sit in a computer chair that long anymore. I just love kicking back and relaxing.

If I had a proper gaming computer, I would play it on that. However, I don't so I shall be playing it on my 360.

Got the Collector's Edition coming on Thursday.
Have you looked at the required specs? That's not a gaming PC.

An office work station could run whilst cooking waffles on the hard drive.

[small]Perhaps that's a mild exaggeration, but you get the idea.[/small]

OT: If at all (DON'T TRUST OBSIDIAN), then PC. It's cheaper and there's tonnes of free content. And better visuals - although that's not saying much from what I've seen of the game.
Judging from that /facepalm post I take it you are an elitist PC Gamer. I have an awesome PC and over 100 titles but there is no need for you to be a dick about the fact that you think PC is better. I used to only play PC games but since I have back problems I cannot sit in a computer chair for extended periods of time and after a 10 hour workday the last thing I want to do is sit at a computer for hours on end. In closing, grow up. No one likes a snob.
I couldn't care less what you play on.

The /facepalm was in reference to the fact that you could easily plug the PC into the huge TV and use a gamepad, whilst having access to the other benefits, which you seem to have totally ignored when providing a reasoning for your first post.

I can't understand how many people don't know that, and I'm curious - if you did know that - as to why you don't do it. Especially if you have trouble with your back and yet have so many games on the PC.

360 (and TOMORROW, btw) because my PC sometimes has trouble running games, and steam has been pissing me off lately. My 360 does not have these issues, but I will probably buy the GOTY edition for PC when it comes out in a year.

I'm going to get the 360 version for now.

In a year or so, once the Mod community has made some cool stuff to partake in, I'll probably pick up a PC version on STEAM or something provided that the game is, you know, good.
I love how you're the first person I've seem to question if Fallout:NV is going to be good.
It's made by Obsidian - I'm surprised so many people seem to have ignored what that company has put out in the the past 10 years and just reverted to rememebering the "good old days" at Black Isle.

Right now I wouldn't touch the game with a stick.

PC.
I bought Fallout 3 on the 360 at first, but lamented my inability to mod the game after playing through three times and just getting bored with the fact that the content was ultimately finite.

Plus since I got the PC version from steam I've already pre-loaded it and can play it as soon as it unlocks.

Good thing I only have ten hours to wait.
