It's not really "laugh-out-loud", hysterically funny, but it's more intellectually funny. It's just such a clever and well-written satire of Johnny Quest, pulp adventure type stuff. And you really need to pay attention and listen to the dialogue to really appreciate it.Eogris said:

Absolutely right. Those two are in the top tier of animated shows. Brilliant writing and great characters. I have to give honorable mentions to Harvey Birdman, Frisky Dingo, Sealab, and Metalocalypse. Futurama would top them all (except for maybe Venture Brothers), but they lost that show a long while ago.DanRSL said:

Yeah, I'd have to say Sealab.
I would say Futurama but that's not really an Adult Swim exclusive.

I'm shocked there isn't more of a nod to Venture Brothers on here. I would argue that it's the best show on television. Its humor is a little more high-brow than the rest of the AS fare. With the Escapist being filled with slightly more high-browed people, I expected more people on here would watch it.
