Poll: favorite army on warhammer 40,000

Space Marines, used to collect Ultramarines, then branched off and created my own lot, lots of money and time put into that, should not have created back story, far too much in fact, got some money back when I sold my models though, the time is lost forever.

Actually, it was worth it, made me more creative, the Omega Dominion had a cool colour scheme and got me called a store killer, well, as in I beat the stores employees, over and over. Hey, they said I could play with my special characters and units.

i've only ha dthe oppoertunity to play as 5 of them, but of those 5, i liked the imperial garud the most. except right at the beginning(i only played the first video game and 1 of it's expansions, so i'm not sure if it's the same as the table top game.). god they suck ass at the beginning.

I used to play as dark eldar years ago. Then they were 'discontinued' and I rage quit.
I also did Witchhunters but it was a much smaller army. I voted 'other'

edit: as far as DoW goes I played any and all of the races nearly equally i seemed to win the most when I played the imperial guard in the first game and the Orks in the 2nd.

I like 40k and personally I like Necrons because they get up again (what does that mean?). I also like Tau because I like their philosophy. And lastly, I like chaos because they're fucking chaos! what more do you need?

Anyway, I chose Eldar at the end of the day because you forgot to list my favourite army, the Dark Eldar. Savage, treacherous and cruel; the way I like them!

I'm fairly sure that what he means by Necrons getting up again is that they can't really be killed permanently. They always come back to life (as far as I know).

The Dark Eldar were discontinued? That's news to me [http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1620088&prodId=prod1095390]. Though they are one of the few races to have received less love than the Blood Angels in the past 10 years or so......

Hence the quotes around discontinued. Many shops stopped carring their stuff and year after year they've been neglected not getting an updated codex. They just needed an announcement to make it offcial. I even went to a few conventions where they said DE were not a legal team.

It was a bunch of bull carp.
