Poll: Favorite Bioware RPG?

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) will always hold a dear place in my heart but Dragon Age and especially Mass Effect give KOTOR a run for its money. The only one I never played is the Sonic one.

Yes the Sonic one really is about Sonic the Hedgehog. Ironically enough, it could be the only good Sonic game since the 2D days. HA

I also really loved Jade Empire, especially the setting, but it didn't have the same impact as KOTOR, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age had.

Note: That's right, Neverwinter Nights 2 and KOTOR 2 were not made by Bioware in case you didn't know.

EDIT: Expansions, downloads, etc. can all be included in your decision making.

Going for Mass Effect on this one. Major fan of sci-fi so it appeals to me more than say Dragon Age.

either way Baldur's gate 2, but i prefered the Tob expansion over the normal story, since well it just seemed much more epic in its conclusion.

I've played quite a few, and the award goes hands down to mass effect. One of the best games I've ever played.

Mass Effect, definitely. It's not just my favorite Bioware game ever, but my favorite game ever. I cannot love this game enough.

It's followed closely by Jade Empire and Dragon Age.

Mass Effect and Baldur's Gate haven't held my attention long enough to actually finish a playthrough, so I'm going with Kotor here, being better than Jade Empire, the only other game on that list I've actually played.

Kotor is awesome.

I'm also surprised that no one yet has voted DA:O, thought for sure that would get something at least.

Wow, this is like asking me to choose which child is my favorite! As much as I love Mass Effect big time, Knights Of The Old Republic just feels slightly more complete so I'm giving it my vote.

Mass Effect for me, the colorful visual style mixed with the great sound (FX, Voice, and Music) along with its epic feel really mix well together. I've not finished DA:O (stuck in the fucking Deep Roads b/c I can't find Branka in Carradins Crossing) but I love it as well, and is very close contender for my choice. I do also love KOTOR but I felt KOTOR 2 was better for various reasons (call me a heretic but that's how I feel dammit) and the second one is actually one of my favorite games of all time, but again we aren't talking about that one. I do really like Jade Empire, especially the setting, but for some reason I just wasn't wowed by it the way the others did. Never played Neverwinter, the Baldur's Gate, or Sonic games, so I can't comment.

Are you serious? KOTOR 2 couldn't hold a candle to the first one. Maybe if it was complete it would've but the developer (Obsidian) even said they cut a lot out due to time constraints. IMO it just felt so incomplete and chock full of holes.

OMFG when you find out that you are Revan in KOTOR. I shit my pants it was so epic. I have history with all of these games, but I must say that KOTOR was my favorite. BG 2 coming in at a close 2nd.

Might want to spoiler tag that. There's no reason for the greatest plot twist in the history of gaming to be given away so nonchalantly.

For me, it's a close one between KOTOR and Mass Effect. I'm a HUGE fan of Mass Effect, but KOTOR ultimately strikes me as the deeper and more well rounded game. So it wins, but both would probably place within my all-time top ten.

Dragon Age is cool, too, as is Jade Empire. And everything else they've made, come to think of it.
