Anyway, it's a tie between Reno and Cid for me. Reno was just a class act.

Mine is Aeris in the first half and Vincent in the second half of the game.

Next time there are too many add an other option I would have Reno but from list I'll take Vincent.

Also Cid's name is spelt wrong...

I'm not a huge fan of final fantasy, at least not anymore, and I still don't get why FFVII is so popular. But still I just have to ask this: why isn't zack here? he pulled off the whole spiky-haired-giant-sword-wielding-anime-dude persona long before cloud did. Plus cloud gets to be really annoying and emo.

Although, I have to admit, I loved that one part in the game where cloud was temporarily brain-dead from mako poisoning: whenever you talked to him he'd just go "ooo... aaah.." or something like that, I thought it was hilarious. It probably wasn't supposed to be funny, but the chibi-polygon graphics made it so (for me anyways).

While it's close for me between Tifa (she's well-balanced and, well, I'm male), Vincent (he sleeps in a coffin, people) and Red XIII, Red wins out. I think he's under-appreciated and one of the most intelligent and capable members of the team.

Red XIII. He is the embodiment of awesome, just in the form of a quadruped. His story is pretty interesting as well, although there was still some element of mystery with him for most of the game. At least there was with me.

I've always sympathized with Tifa, but recently have been disturbed by the fact that Cloud is the same age as me, and Tifa is a year younger. I'd have to go with Cid though, because he spews such hilarious things, but he gets his moments in the game.

Here's a thought: if someone has already pointed out that something, like for example a certain three-letter name in the poll, was miss-spelled, there's really no point in commenting on it further.

Also, of course Zack can't be on a poll like this. He'd render the entire poll unnecessary, because everyone knows he's awesome, and none of the others would get any votes.

Also, I can't think of one redeeming quality to Yuffie. Her screen-time on Dirge and Crisis Core actually made me hate her more.
