I like the Heisei Godzilla, especially in the later films like Godzilla vs DESTOROYAH. As far as the man in suit look went, it was by far the best. It managed to keep the scale and bulk of the monster without getting *too* goofy like the Showa Zilla or the downright insane Millenium monsters.
Give me the guy in the rubber suit style. It was the original and I guess that will always be they Godzilla was supposed to look. So I guess Showa Godzilla.
Embedded the actually images under spoilers would of help without resorting to us to search the images ourselves for those unfamiliar with the different designs.
Anyway I would go with millennium and 2014 designs. I thought the 2014 design was mostly alright (I didn't liked the rhino feet and his head look kinda small compared to the rest of his body) despite what some people say.

Wow. The pole results look really skewed toward the newest Godzilla... I don't think he was bad, per-say; much better than Gino, but he wasn't my favorite. Original was classic, but looked too corny looking back... It'd probably be a toss-up between Heisei and Millennium Godzilla.
I'll always love Zilla the most. He had a freaking cartoon, and screw you guys the 1998 movie is plenty watchable. Fine, he's not Godzilla but I wish Toho would use him more to get his Kailua cred up.
Not going to happen, even Toho hated Zilla, which is why they had their Godzilla absolutely destroy Zilla in the span of 10 seconds in Godzilla Final Wars. If they hate Zilla so much as they would go out of their way to publicly shame the monster, I don't think there is going to be much focus on that monster in the future. Then they must have had quite the change of heart. From what I have read, they absolutely hated the movie since release. Now as far as Trademarks go, I am no expert on trademarking and copyright, though I am sure it has something to do with having the Zilla property kinda belong to 2 separate parties....That or maybe Toho wants to keep the name Zilla trademarked at least, if not the image.SaneAmongInsane said:

Tristar held the copyright to Zilla until they let it lapse and Toho was quick to scoop that shit up and make him cannon.
Anyway, it's just my personal thing. I want to see Zilla in another movie, even if it was just like Godzilla vs 5 Zillas (since they have a high respawn)
