Poll: favorite hack and slash game

Bayonetta, Bayonetta, Bayonetta.

Not actually a fan of the hack and slash genre in general, to be honest, so haven't played many of those games (apart from DMC, Dante' Inferno and GoW), but I adore Bayonetta. I suppose I'm not completely qualified to comment, but...meh!

i put cod for all those people that refuse to play anything else. although they likely wouldn't be on this site.

I know the people you mean...But instead of putting 'I dont play games' just put ' I dont play hack'n'slash games.'

Also, thats not a great hack'n'slash list...my favourites are Diablo and Torchlight, both for similar reasons. Yet they arent on the list.

It's still a button masher like the other 'hack n' slash' games, just with the added classes and inventory management .

If we're fixating on more recent games then how about Arkham & Borderlands? They're debatable as hack & slash but I could still feel good about voting for one of those.

I love how your only other option is "I don't play games" and you assume that everyone who doesn't play your beloved hack n slash games are frat boys who sit around and play Call of Duty and Madden.

I don't play hack n slash games because I think they're boring wastes of time where you mash a single button over and over again while you occasionally dodge.
