Who is your favorite modern Doctor? The ninth, tenth, or eleventh iteration?

My personal favorite has to be David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor. He just brought so much energy to the character. He wasn't as badass as the ninth Doctor, but he made up for it by being a much more lighthearted character than the Ninth Doctor's moody outlook.

Hmm... I Imagine the majority will say 10, and about 15% will go to the 9th and 11th each.

Daaaaaaavid Teeeeeeeenant, for sure. Eccleston got me into the series in the first place, but the 10th Doctor made me fall in love with the character. Very expressive, very energetic, always enthused about everything, even being terribly unenthused about things. It was really quite infectious.

Also, #11 apparently has brain damage from being whacked upside the head with an ugly stick one too many times.

Matt Smith is a great doctor, but I'm still undecided on whether I like him more than Tennant. I need to get a few more seasons out of him, but as of now, the Tenth is the best.

Might have been from that rather violent crash landing he had.

He's fun at least, and his first appearance he called himself a girl.

WHY DOES HE SUDDENLY NOT KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL?!

Seriously, Eccleston and Tennant both were super knowledgeable about EVERYTHING, as one would expect from a being about a millennium old *EDIT* Not to mention someone WHO TRAVELS THROUGH TIME, and suddenly I'm to believe the Doctor's intellect shrank to Human capacity? And he forgot how people work?

It's a real tough decision between 10th and 11th it's probably about even though the 9th was a very good one as well. I'll probably say tenth though.

This has been a frustrating process... This is the third time I've tried to post a reply... The first time my dog stepped on the keyboard and the browser went back a page, deleting what I typed. The second time my connection timed out when I pushed post, again deleting what I had typed. So, in total that's about 4 paragraphs gone. So this time before I post I'm going to at least copy the text so that if something goes wrong all I'll have to do is paste.

Anyway.

For me it is a tough choice between the Tenth and Eleventh. I prefer the feel of the show under Moffat. I just plain enjoyed this last season more than any of the previous. I kind of wish Tennant had stuck around longer so I could have seen him in a Moffat led show (Of course that would make this an even tougher decision for me.)

The Tenth was great; charismatic, confident, he was just much more... in control. However, I feel that I can relate more to the Eleventh Doctor and that coupled with the new direction of the show pushes him ahead slightly for me. So, I'm going to have to go with him. The Eleventh Doctor is my Doctor. In fact... I just realized that my MSN status is "Bow. Ties... Are. Cool."

...which they are. C:

I'm going to go out in a limb and be different and say the tenth. XD something about him added something to the doctor. I will miss him so. *sniff*

This'n:

Best Doctor of the three to be sure.
I really dislike the new one. He's... wrong. I really hope I'll warm up to the actor, but he just isn't The Doctor.

... Hardcore Tennant fan, I presume?
Not so much as that series the only Doctor Who out of all three I actually enjoyed. I just can't stand the new one. He's terrible. The Ninth wasn't too bad, but he didn't really... do much.
Okay then, but why so?
