I love the Spirit Temple.
It was so much fun to play.
the Puzzles were Average, the Enemeys were Tricky(Damn Anubus, attacking when i have no MP), and the Boss.....oh man the Boss.
Twinrova is probably one of the funniest bosses iv ever fought in a Zelda Game.
Using the Mirror Shield to adsorb their Magic and Fire it back was a little Tricky at first but fun.
And the end where they argue as their Spirits move on was hilarious.
I wish you could have used the Mirror Shield like that more in the game.
Shadow Temple/Bottom of the Well are both 2ND.
They FREAKED ME OUT.
As a kid these were probably two of the scariest things iv ever seen, and now older they still fill me with Dread and Fear.
And a Little Paranoia because of the Invisible Enemys and Traps.
Couldn't have said it better myself. And yeah, those places creeped me out too. I used to love how Zelda games such as Ocarina and Majora had this family friendly look on the outside, and then this really dark undertone. Kind of like the works of Tim Burton or Roald Dahl. It's a pity the series seems to have lost that darker edge.
I love Majora's Mask for that reason.
It was Colorfull, REALLY Colorfull, and yet it had some of the most Twisted Characters and themes iv ever seen.
Majora's Mask Humself was utterly Psycho.
And don't get me started on the first time i put on a Transformation mask....that scream and look of Pain still gives me nightmares.
And as for the Darker Tones.
I kinda feel the same.
Wind Waker did get pretty dark though.
And the Final Boss?
Brutal, just Brutal.
I actually think styles like MM and WW have the greatest potential to be dark and actually
effect us.
Dark game having Dark moments, you could probably see it coming so its not a huge deal.
Game like WW that has a light mood then suddenly goes down a road you would have never thought was possible, that will get ya.
