Chandelure is a lot of things, but having good typing isn't one of them. x2 weak to rock, ground, ghost, water, dark. Its immune to fighting type attacks, all fighting types out speed it for the most part and kill it with either rock slide or stone edge.
Well... no. Just... no. All fighting types don't outspeed it - Chandelure has base 80 speed, which puts it ahead of quite a few fighting types (on par with Blaziken and twice as fast as Conkeldurr). It's not a speed demon, but it works well at what it does - switching in on a slow enemy and blowing them away with Mewtwo-strength special attacks.

Plus, 2x weakness to only 5 types? That's pretty damn good, don't you think? No 4x weaknesses, STAB spread that hits everything for neutral/super-effective... it's actually a pretty damn good typing, really. Granted, you'll probably kill Chandelure if you hit it with a super-effective attack, but considering it's low HP and defenses you can take it out with a non-super effective attack anyways. It's a glass cannon, sure, but GOD DAMN can it cannon when used properly.

And, just to put the type thing in perspective - Scizor has a 4x weakness to fire, yet it's one of the most devastating attackers out there. Reshiram, with a 2x weakness to rock, ground and dragon (all common attacks in Uber tier), is considered one of the most challenging pokemon to counter due to the sheer level of power it can bring to the field and the fact that it can legit hit everything for neutral damage. Yes, the less weaknesses the better, but on offensively minded pokemon it's more about how many things you can hit for bonus damage than anything else.

Besides, Spiritomb has no weaknesses and it's fucking terrible.
No that isn't good. Rock and ground are two of the most common attacking types. Its right up there with ice and fire. Scizor only has one weakness, not 5. 5 is really bad. Reshiram is not that hard to counter.(where did you get that from.) Chandelure's typing doesn't help it. Ghost doesn't help fire, vise versa. It doesn't get rid of weaknesses.

Chandelure isn't a bad poke, his typing does it more harm than good. I never said that all fighting types out speed it, alot of them do. Besides, even the slow ones can just one shot it with payback. Chandelure doesn't hit ever poke for Neutral damage. Snorlax with thick fat laughs at it. Houndoom doesn't really care what it does. Pokemon with the trace ability, can steal Flash Fire and basically be immune to it. Weavile, Krookodile, Hounchrow, basically one shot it. Chandelure is weak to every single entry hazard in the game. Chandelure isn't bad, hes not the god you are making him out to be.

I always really liked Golduck. But I find most of the dual psychic types interesting. Like Exeggutor or Slowbro.
Gen II was my favourite. Felt like a proper sequel. Having both Kanto and Johto was impressive when I first played Silver.
It's a pity Golduck isn't a dual typed Pokémon, his psychic attacks would do SO much more damage.

My current favourite line up using Pokémon from all gens is Typhlosion, Golduck, Tyranitar, Gengar, Elektross, Lucario. But I started in 3rd gen and I remember having some fun with Swampert, Blazekin, Kyogre, Deoxys, Rayquaza and Agron...yeah I was that kid who used mainly legendary Pokémon, but hey, I was 10.

My favorite generation I guess would be the 5th simply because I played that one last and remember it the most

Favorite would be HeartGold

My favorite Pokemon is a toss up between Dragonite, Haxorus, and Zoroark. If I was forced to pick only one I'd go with Dragonite, he's been my favorite the longest

Favorite team...I've only ever assembled one team that I was legitimately proud of and that was in my HeartGold. It consisted of Typhlosion, Swampert, Torterra, Heracross, Dragonite and Ampharos
