DOW Insane I'm a turtle. The rest it depends. For bosses in DOWII I hit and run. For standard in DOW I like to get a army and just go straight foward to teh enemy.

I construct a strong base(s) then leave units in random places, when they get attacked I move my army in then run before they get there.

Well thats what I do in Halo wars, I kinda suck a rushing so I noramly die in the first few moments of any noraml RTS.

Depends on the game, though I usually aim for a blend of Boom and Turtle. After all, why bother putting up all those turrets and towers if you don't have anything worth defending?

I basically never Rush, though I do like harrying the enemy's resource operations.

I picked the none of the above. I'm very tactical and balanced in RTSs. Using resources intelligently, defending in good spots and attacking when the enemy shows weakness.

If anything I'm a bit more of a defensive player. Just a little though.

I turtle to the extent that I focus more on defense until I have a decent army, rather than zerg rushing and sending in a bunch of crap units. I find that six knights, four riflemen, and two heroes ten minutes into Warcraft III are far more effective than ten footmen after three minutes. Of course, no one else thinks so, and I often end up getting steamrolled in multiplayer.

On most RTS games I'm a turtle. The only one I can think of that I'm not is Age of Empires 2, and I sometimes am on that.

Turtle! I have wonderfully colored, impenetrable shell. But I also have chainsaws instead of hands.

Blauergh,* Ottoman Settler Rush!

*Also, I enjoy

(I am possibly biased due to largely playing a game where the ONLY viable 1v1 strategy, at least initially on small maps, is rush) - I like rushing a lot, build epic armies of small tanks that I then attempt to cripple my opponent's resources, then turtle if I can and then steamroll them

I always get attacked very early in the game and have to struggle to counter the attacks until i am so low that i need my allies have to back me up then I have to move my entire base to my allies base a start over

I know it's a terrible strategy, but I can never lay off the idea of having to get the the latest tech tree, then building the strongest units and spending all my resources on upgrading my shit before that, eventually crushing the enemy, but taking hours to get to that point. In multiplayer, I always get beat.

Yeah, resources.
I try to grab as much and as early in the game as possible.
Afterwards I either turn to pumping out waves of units to steamroll or bunker a little.
But at the start, a steady economy is the most important to me.
Perfectly true. I don't care how much they turtle, if my economy is simply superior, I can steamroll them.

Depends on the game, but you need to mix economy with aggressiveness to be successful in most situations, aside from a select few where you can tech to game-enders (SupCom/TA).

Of course there's always the skillfully lulzy times where I've won by flying 12 barracks into my enemy's base and landing them and starting to make M+M as I push from the front with my mech...

I veer towards turtlish, starting off with building strong defenses and establishing as many supply lines as possible... Then, depending on the game, I either establish air superiority or use partisan tactics with fast units, destroying the opponent's crucial structures in a few sudden attacks, to finish it off with my ground forces steamrolling over the now helpless enemy force.

So you can see that I don't like multiplayer too much. I just enjoy building and developing a varied force, and games which end after 2 minutes of "who can click on 'recruit weakest mook' faster and rush the enemy" are just not my cup of tea.
