I find that Huntsmans take too long to kill, the Funnel webs kill in a minute and they're bigger so they're easier to grab with the tongs, but they do scare the crap out of me when they start moving a lot in the bag.

Sword! Nodachi are fantastic (just not all that effective in real life!). And any sword that looks like it's at least as long as the wielder is tall, and hopefully made out of something cool, like, I don't know, maybe PURE EVIL!!!!!! That would be a cool sword.

Edit: I forgot to also add - me! Unarmed combat is damned fine, especially if you know the secret of the Shaolin Buddha Finger...

Sniper rifle. I like it when 1 bullet is enough. Although, when a sniper rifle is not available, explosives will do just fine, as long as the ordnance delivered is bigger than the player character's head (see FO3's Fat Man for a truly orgasmic demolition fest)

my favorite weapons have got to be, well like i said weapons ther e are more than one since i love all of these

the Kris (a type of knive very simple use but its design is optimised for stabbing)
the Rapier (god i love those stab style fighting is so effective if done right and no its not fencing fencing is done with an épée)
The maine gouche (a parrying weapon and parrying is an great defensive tactic that is less cumbersome than a shield)
yeah i like tactical fighting style weaponry as opposed to brute force weaponry >.>

Gotta say the classic bolt action rifle. Since you have to load the bullet into the chamber manually it really makes you appreciate not missing.
