I've never seen anything darker than Dark Amber/B grade maple syrup in America. Do they have it at the maple forest producers in Vermont? I love the darker stuff because it has a stronger maple flavor that really goes well on French toast and pancakes...and if I'm ever in VT/eastern Canada I'll have to see about getting to a producer for stuff that's even richer than my local Trader Joe's carries.
