Poll: Favourite accent from around the world?

Mid-Western American(I live here).

It's the easiest dialect and accent to understand, as most people here speak clearly and don't stutter alot when we talk.

For sheer badass-ness, I'd go with German. In all of the WW2 movies, they're all like "Vee have Vays of making you talk."

Definitely British, considering I am engaged to a British block and I'm American. Lol. I love his accent though, there is more than one. Don't think I could stand it if he had a cockney accent. xD Or a few of the other ones I heard.

The irish accent, definitely. In fact that's the accent I'd like to have, instead of my current, more or less british-sounding one(which really is a mix of various british accents from around britain, a brit would see that, while a non-brit probably wouldn't).
The french accent takes second place, especially on an attractive female. Such a beautiful accent... and french itself is such a beautiful language.
I've never liked the american accent, or more specifically, the mid-western accent, that sort of makes people sound dumber, than they really are(if you're having a hard time picturing what the accent sounds like, think of Bush, or a large portion of the americans in the Borat film).
Just makes my ears hurt. No offence, anyone, I just can't stand the accent.

I like my own. So finnish accents all the way! I find it weird that the only european accents you have there are british and french. I think scandinavians, germans and eastern europeans deserve their place on there.

On an unrelated note, I've been wondering what would have happened if she had been cast as Ginny Weasley back when they made Sorcerer's Stone. She's closer to Daniel Radcliffe's age, is far more sexy than Bonnie Wright, and is actually a good actress. The Harry/Ginny romance would have worked just as well in the movies as it did in the books if the casting directors had only known that they were casting a love interest and not just "Ron's little sister".

*whew* I needed to get that off my chest. It just bugged me how little chemistry there was in that romance subplot, and I'm sure that Gillan would have been able to make it work.

Have to agree on that... it just didn't work in the films, I never found it even remotely interesting, nor worth following. Too bad.
