Poll: Favourite and least favourite pokemon type

favorite is psychic, least would have to be poison, though thats a little obvious...

the type i hate with a passion (but isn't my least favorite because i still use it) is dark... seriously, dark, SCREW YOUR PSYCHIC RESISTANCE!!!!

Parties always mixed, I go for overall power based on type advantages and I like using pokemon that use moves you wouldn't associate with their type to get the benefits of using them against their own typeset (Gyarados using thunder, defys both his types).

I stuck with my Beedrill (Katherine) to the end despite her being by far the weakest of my party however. Just didn't have the heart to kick her out.

Fire / Psychic are probably my favourite types. I love Arcainine and Typhlosion, Hypno and Gardevoir.

Favorite has to be Grass. I try to always have a grass type on my team.

Least favorite is Rock, I absolutely despise it.

My favorite type would have to be Psychic. I EV trained an insanely diverse Psy-team with hard hitting members like Alakazam for Spec. Att., Gallade for Speed, Metagross for Defense (and to take out annoying Darks) Medicham for Attack, a Weavile (not Psychic, I know, but still, that Speed is ridiculous) and a cycling sixth, usually someone I was training for another team. Although Castform had this spot for a while. He is the stupidest, most annoying Pokemon ever, but he is still fun to break out. I get a lot of crap when I use my Mew so he usually stays back.

Oh, yeah, topic... least favorite would have to be Dark. Actually, I love Dark, but my best friend has a fully fledged Dark Team which is murder on my Psychics. Suggestions for taking out Dark with majority Psychics?

And for one I can't stand, I'd go normal. I know it's its own type, but it doesn't feel like it, and psychologically, this actually makes a difference in how you fight, so... yeah

Ghosts are my favorite, followed by grass, and water. My least favorite type is definitely fire. There are no good ones at all.

To me it doesn't matter if a pokemon is good or not. It only matters if i like them or not, to me. An example of a good fire type is arcanine. It's actually a very good fire type among the many good ones. The type itself is a powerful force, yet very fragile at the same time.

favorite type is probably fire though this is probably just due to my favorite pokemon being blazeiken (after seeing what it did to ash's bayleef in the johto league how could I not).

My least favorite type is probably water simply because there are so MANY of them (most common type). Also i have always hated dragons after my beautiful and graceful dragonaire evolved into the stupidest lump in the universe back in yellow.

Either pyschic or dark, the first level 100 pokemon I obtained legitimately (by training myself) was Alakazam.

You could use your gallade or medicham. Teach most of them focus blast. That'd be a good counter for darks.

I assume you'd be wanting to train the dark/steel type from generation V?

My favourite types are bug and water, and I quite like fire type too, because of the pokemon they generally produce. Not sure about least favourite, possibly rock and poison, just because they seem fairly unimpressive...

I quite like fossil pokemon so i tend to like rock. I think it's just a type that tends to have cool looking pokemon. Like aggron, golem, regirock and kabutops.

I don't have a favorite since I build my team to have an attack for every possible situation. My least favorite is definitely normal, since their attacks aren't good against anything, and bad against a few types.

Normal is quintessentially boring but practical. I don't hate it, but it's just not that much fun to use.

I like psychic types; they can't take a hit, but they do tons of damage and have lots of cool tricks to make up for their weaknesses.

Of course, I'm generalizing.

I'm also oddly enthused with dark, or more accurately, Umbreon.

My favourite type has to be steel. Metagross, Scizor, Magnezone, Heatran, Jirachi, Skarmory.

I also love Yanmega for some weird reason, given that bug and normal are my 2 least favourite types.
