Wasn't this what March Madness was for?
Oh and I'd have to go with Crytek. They have such attention to detail.

Wow... So hard to choose... I love each developer for their own reasons. If I had to pick one, I'd say Valve for their commitment to their games and the gaming community, and even then it still feels weird to pick JUST one.

I like too many developers. Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Square Enix, Namco Bandai, etc.

Of that list, I choose Bethesda. Too be honest, I haven't played games by the other companies, except Epic and Ubisoft.

Apparently I'm one of the few who still loves Nintendo. Say what you will about the lack of AAA titles coming out right now, but whenever Nintendo does let a first-party title go it hits a grand slam.

Bioware: They just make great games; there's not one Bioware game that I've played and been bored with. Also, the replay value on their games are very high.

id Software comes in a close second. I wish I knew about their games before playing Doom 3, because I bet they would have been way more fun back then. I bought the Doom 3 Collector's Edition and it came with Doom and Doom 2. Those games are great and I still play them from time to time; and also Hexen, Heretic, Quake 1, 2, 3, and 4.
I eagerly await Rage and Doom 4 (new info next year at Quakecon).

I'm surprised to see so few votes for Infinity Ward. I guess it's not as popular as I thought.
Oh well, still can't wait for Modern Warefare 2!
