I've been in love with shooters ever since the original FPS.

That's right...

The problem with horror, I've found, is that they usually don't succeed in creating a scary or spooky, hell even a jumpy, atmoshpere but when they do they are brilliant. Usually when they're psychological

But I chose RTS cos they're usually more fun and easier to play with other people and don't have to be exceptionally brilliant like horrors, to still be fun to play

I play most everything that'd good, except for 4x and god games. But if I have to pick a favourite, it'll have to be RPG. (Western or JRPG matters little.)

Intelligent Shooters. Guns are sexy.
It also helps to have fast gameplay and loud noises.
But only within the context of a good story, no Halos thank you.

It's hard to tell really, as I was initially I was heavily into TBS's then I started to become more interested in FPS's, which I am still interested in to this day. It was only relatively recently I got interested in RPG's however. That, and a good bit of horror. I do like a good scare every now and then...

I'm pretty much a fan of almost anything. I chose adventure because that's basically what sonic the hedghog falls under, and various other games (spyro, crash bandicoot, etc.) I enjoy racing, but only if you get to take out other cars. (Burnout) Shooters: the only one I enjoy is probably Portal, and maybe the half-life series. Not really a fan of horror or RPGs, though.

yes!
its mostly about fun, but i do love a good horror that scares the $#@#!@#$# outa me, sadly that hasent happend in a long time.
i jumped a little in Metroid Prime 3 but only on the flagship that had been attacked by Space Pirate's and thats only because after opining a door and seeing a body desentagrate suddenly suprised me, it was still freaky though.

I play a lot of RPG's and some of my most favourite games of all time fall into that genre so I guess it is the one for me. There are many characteristics of the genre that attract me to it, I love starting out as a weakling who can barely lift a stick at the beginning and becoming a bad ass god-slayer by the end. I love crawling around dungeons and finding all sorts of treasure to hoard.

RPG's rule.

Last one to make me jump was in Dead Space my first Necromorph jumped out at me. Then again, 5 minutes later, when it revived >.<

RPG because I am obsessed with medieval anything. For god's sake, I am even writing books about a world I created. How much nerdier can I be?
