Poll: favourite melee weapon in a game?

Gravity Hammer, namely the one used by the Brute Chieftain in Halo Wars.

I'm not too sure if I'd classify the Grav-Hammer as a melee weapon, it's a little more like a super weapon in my opinion.

Very satisfying though

Oh you still hit people with it, just because it can make a gravitational vortex and repel and attract objects at a distance doesn't mean it isn't a melee weapon (it just means it's an incredibly awesome melee weapon ).

And to preempt anyone who's likely to think it's a gravity gun rip-off Half-Life 2 and Halo 2 were released in the same year. The Brute Chieftain Tarterus (a major antagonist in Halo 2) used a ceremonial gravity hammer known as the Fist of Rukt.

Also, the Bioshock wrench -- I think -- is a nod to the System Shock 2 monkey wrench. I couldn't help but crack up whenever I clocked a psionic monkey in the face with it as it came around a corner. "Oooh oooh aah aah aa-" *BLAM*
