There was a time I would of said COunter Strike, but I guess I still play BF2 a fair bit.

Most are going to say OTHER since TF2, L4D/2, and Moder nWarfare are others...

Although I clicked Counter Strike as I count the Steam shooters (CS/DoD/TF2/L4D) as one big group rathre than separate games. Also, Counter Strike rules the roost, probably more people have played Counter Strike/Source online than any other shooter.

I'd definitely go with Team Fortress 2, so cartoonish and yet you can still take it seriously.

Team Fortress 2 all the way. Balanced, many different maps, game modes, and it doesn't take itself seriously, leading to some hilarious things. Death animations, taunts, taunts that kill, the ability to an explosive head-on and easily survive, unrealistic guns and abilities, and its hilarious bits of dialogue...

That game is so much fun.

Back in the day I was a huge fan of the original Unreal Tournament, but I can't say the same of the sequels. After that I got into a HL mod called Firearms which was ridiculously fun. Now it'd have to be TF2.

DoD...although ive become almost too good at that game, i get a lot of complaints from friends.

Ah DoD.One of the most underrated Valve games.And yet it's just fucking fun.

OT:It would be either CoD4,TF2 or DoD.All games that I have spent a lot of time playing.

Call me crazy, but I loves me some Halo.

If you ask me Halo is still one of the best, I really can't stand MW2 nor BC2 considering how much of a fragfest they are.

Resistance 2, it's a bit of an olde now but 30 players on each team on maps inbetween MW2 and BC2 in sheer size is fun.

I could be getting my ass handed to me but I am still enjoying it.

If that gets boring you can play co-op and team up with fellow players and beat bots, remember them? With forced team play, you have to have medics, you have to have people supplying ammo and people don't just choose soldier for the big mini gun.

It's really balanced and I have never seen a glitch or bug.
