The first two episodes set up the story, but have their moments as well.

Episode 21 is the best though, imo. "Welcome to AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPLEOOSA"

Be warned, the first couple of episodes might give you the impression that the whole series is one big story, which it's not so I would recommend starting at episode 3 or 4 instead and then start going in order.

I am old school too, far too old for the more recent series, and to be honest, I think the 80s original was far better then the later ones (Yes I am wearing nostalgia googles, you dont need to point out).
