Tbh, while I would have to say that objectively, this is a crime, because of the obvious age thing, subjectively I'd have to point out that it is FAR more likely that the boy (and yes, it does matter that it was a boy) would've probably begged her for sex, as would have most of us on the simple premise that she is both hot, older and also those pesky hormones raging through our body.

IF she did take advantage of him, and this isn't a simple case of the mother freaking out like a stupid twat, then yes, she should actually go to jail for forcing him to do something he wasn't comfortable with combined with being underage, but I think that's quite unlikely.

I don't usually buy into this double-standard crap very easily, but in this kind of story I can get behind it. If this were a 20 year old male having a long-term sexual relationship with a 14 year old girl, people would be calling for life in prison or the death penalty. The guy would be a manipulative monster who doesn't deserve to see the light of day again.

But here, everyone is legitimizing the 20 year old female. Oh, she must have had low self-esteem to have resorted to something like this. Oh, the embarrassment of the ordeal is enough of a punishment for her. Just give her a little rehab and she'll be fine. Man, that boy sure is lucky, getting a chick like her.

The article appears to say the she's been charged for what looks like two seperate cases. In that case, I think she does need some form of mental help/rehab because she appears to have a thing for teenage boys, which is only going to end up getting worse.

Other than that, she bought alcohol for a minor which is illegal, she had sex with a minor which is illegal, and she POSSIBLY got him drunk TO have sex with him, which is more illegal.

Still as a guy I am obliged to offer a high five to the kid for scoring with a 20 year old...

In all seriousness stuff like this should really be dealt with on a case by case basis, if he was fine with it and she wasn't mistreating him then I really don't see much of a problem, certainly not enough to include jail time, maybe forcibly seperate them by way of a restraining order or some such but jail, no way.

Also, just as a snide little poke here, I wonder how many of the "JAIL NOW" posters didn't have sex 'til they were in their 20's?

The issue isn't the fact that the kid got laid. It's the issue of the girl having sex with a minor.

I agree such things should be done case-by-case, but if the genders were reversed this wouldn't even be up for debate. I dislike double-standards, and having sex at age fourteen isn't something to be proud of, and an attractive girl having sex with a fourteen year-old boy is retarded - if she wanted she could just get laid by some random guy her own age at a club, but instead she decides she wants a young boy. Again, if the gender's were reversed the guy would be in serious trouble.

In all seriousness, she deserves jail time. I don't care if they were "consenting." Fourteen is seriously too young for anyone to be having sex, and that 19-20-year-old should have known better. She doesn't get a passs just because she's pretty and she doesn't get a pass just because he might've been in to it. If I was the 14-year-old's mother, I would have called the police as well. If the girl was actually in love with him and not just being a horny idiot, she would've waited until he was of age.

Actually, it should.. boys cant get pregnant.. boys are generally less "vunerable" than women.. (granted, it is actually men who are mostly the victims of sex crimes, but thats from other men..)

I'm tempted to crack a joke about the boy being a legend, but the double standard is so blindingly obvious here that it's actually a little sickening. Of course, his abuser being a sexy twenty year old girl, it would most likely have been pleasant for him, but that still makes it in no way right. Jail, or, at the very, very least, assuming that she wasn't manipulating the kid - which is doubtful - some serious rehab.

The best I can say about this girl is that she probably meant no harm to the kid, and that the very real possibility of a jail sentence for something she never took quite seriously is going to be a hell of a shock. I hope she gets through it all right, and comes out the better for it.
