Yes, I can fight. I used to do boxing for a few years, and am very good at it. Also, I am skilled at using swords, nunchucks, and a few kinds of fire arms. I enjoy a good fist fight, especially bar fights. 30 people beating the tar out of each other is always fun.
Ahh nunchunks...

No matter how hard i try, i allways fail when i use them.

I perfer to use a staff or my fists. (well fingers/ palms at most cases)

I grew up with older brothers so I got to experience the get tough mentality quickly. Been boxing for the last five years now and I gained a few new moves since joining the Army. I'm fairly confident that I can take most people my size. I spar on a weekly basis but the last good fight was about four months ago when one of my older brothers and I got in an argument about politics. Well that always leads to violence, but he's lost the ability to beat me up long ago.

I've been in a couple fights, years and years ago, and I'm not proud of it. I wouldn't be able to defend myself against someone with a weapon (though I would try, in a life or death situation), but I could probably hold my own in a hand to hand fight (again, only if I had to).

I've been thinking of taking some self defense classes as a just-in-case precaution.

Anyone can fight with a weapon when you think about it
Thats a myth.

For egzample an untrained man with a knife can cause more damage to himself, then his opponent.

Unless his opponent is untrained too ofcourse.
The man with the bigger knife doesn't even have to fight. Think about it, or watch some Crocodile Dundee.

No. I'm a wuss. I prefer to outsmart opponents. Or just run away very fast.
Im exactly like you but if someone has me cornered I can put up a fight. Ill get knocked out after a while but I can do some damage.

I can't say that I know how to fight and I'm not really that strong either. That said, I've been in a fair few fights... And I mean like real fights, like beating each other bloody kind of fights. It's a lot of fun!

It took me a very long time to learn anything beyond the groin kick-strangle with nunchuck chain combo. Although, they are fun to use, and if you can pull off tricks with them they are fairly intimidating.

I follow a proper martial art. Boxing, which is very useful for defending yourself in real life situations by hitting the other guy until he stops hitting back and outside of the ring I don't mind using dirty techniques such as kicking my opponent in the family jewels.

Not just intimidating, but very effective too!

I personally have the most trouble when sparing with someone who is skilled with nunchuks. Those things are imossible to block, and i rarelly manage to grab them.

Its very hard to stay defencive when fighitng someone who has those things. And thats basicly how i fight. I stay defencive untill i see an opening to the throat/ ribs/ head.

I have no idea. I've never lost a fight due to the fact I don't have some playground mentality with some stupid code-of-conduct; I'll quite happily kick you in the groin or punch you in the wind-pipe. Then again, every time I've been in a fight I've always surprised people by seeming to go from calm to psychotic-rage-time-now in half a second, because not much of my mood shows on my face, therefore I've won through surprise and dirty-fighting.

I think I'd probably lose a fight with anyone who either regularly fought or did some sort of martial-art to a good degree, but I'd consider myself a tad better than the average person of my experience simply because I know how to hurt someone and I'm not scared to once angry.

Still, I'm hoping to pick up jujitsu from where I left off (aka, the start) and start tae-kwon-do next year for something to do to keep fit, so hopefully I'll be Bruce Lee in a couple of years. Then I'll dig this conversation out of the graveyard of threads, with Youtube videos of me crushing bricks between my thighs with enough force to cause a black hole.

EDIT - Also, I did quite a few years of fencing and have this habit of assuming a sloppy en guarde position when in confrontations, which is pretty much a very basic stance for some martial arts. I used to have fast reactions too from fencing, but it's been way too long now. Still...once the brick-crushing begins...

Fencing and Judo... kinda an odd combo but the balance, throws and holds from Judo with the direct attacks and stance derived from Fencing. Its quite effective, does annoy my mate when I block a gutpunch and parry it.

Honestly though, I'm a lover not a fighter. Saying THAT to someone will get them to leave you alone.

I'm not sure, because I've never been in a fight. Least not a proper fight, had a couple of playground scraps in my younger days :D

I did Aikido for a few years, but had to give it up recently 'cause my class clashed with my job :(

I reckon I'd try to avoid fighting if at all possible, but If I was close enough I reckon I'd give em a smart knee in the balls to keep em busy whilst I run away :D
