I couldn't get a working copy of number 2 of Golden Sun, damn near killed me inside... but a neighbor has it... perhaps its time to call in a favor.

Golden Sun-- that's a game I almost forgot about. I played through the both of those at least three times. (Couldn't link between GBAs, so I had to copy that insanely long code down every single time I got to GS2.)

What I hated was that the one thing that mattered - the one that carried the Djinn - was the longest damn code.

Oh my, that code. I printed it off, took 30 minutes to carefully enter it in, and IT ENDED UP TELLING ME I MESSED UP AT THE END. It was just a misplaced S though, and surprisingly wasn't that hard to find.

Really? I found a copy here for $10 in a used electronics store.

On the subject of FF, I seem to prefer 8. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed pretty much every one I have played (except 9), but with FF8, it was the first time the playable characters looked relatively detailed, and that made a huge impression. FF7s 3D graphics were not my cup of tea tbh, I enjoyed it a lot, but I will agree with most of the comments that have been previously mentioned.

I'm hurt the Phantasy Star series wasn't included.

Final Fantasy has the advantage of being one of the most long running rpg series, running from 1987 - current, or please god when will it end depending on who you ask.

Phantasy star comes close with a birth date of end of year 1987 - 1988(us release), but the series petered out. Pretty much the series got taken down when sega tanked out of the console market.

Couldn't vote though because I Fallout isn't on the list.

I was thinking that, although im definetly voting for Golden Sun, it was an immense game, not recognised by enough people either...

Tempted to vote for "Tales" though, mainly because of symphonia and phantasia but I'll resist.
