I liked it. Every FF is different from the one before so all the complaints that it's "not like the previous ones" don't really apply.

There need to be a third option. Kind of.
It was great looking, i didn't mind the gameplay, the story was okay.
But, the script was pretty bad sometimes, the voicework sometimes irked me (Vanille in particular), and the characters with the exception of Sazh and Fang got on my nerves very heavily.
I was never able to play for more than an hour or two before giving up when the game began irritating me. Its sad that the last ff game i enjoyed was X.
